Story
Roxie is a Border Collie mix, and she is around 15 years old. She has been a loving family dog for years, but we are no longer able to support her needs as a senior dog. Roxie has arthritis as well as hyperthyroidism and Cushing's disease, which have caused frequent urination, loss of bladder control, and excessive thirst. She currently takes medication to make the side effects more manageable. She is house trained, but she does have accidents often and will need a home that can accommodate her needs. Roxie is very gentle, calm, and affectionate; she loves to snuggle and likes to be near her people. She is not vocal normally but she will bark at a knock or doorbell or other loud noises. She has been gentle with every person she has ever met. She does not typically like other dogs, but she is used to living with cats and gets along with them very well. She is content to stay inside most of the time, but she loves to go on short walks.
