Carman is a dainty border collie mix, approximately 8 years old, that loves to cuddle and be a couch potato with her family. She is an affectionate gal once she gets to know you. In her case, patience makes the heart grow fonder as she apparently has some emotional scarring from her younger years. She is timid when meeting new people and prefers women over men. Once she does bond to her family, she is also extremely protective in regards to other dogs. She needs to be the ONLY pet, no exceptions. For this reason, we highly recommend a fenced yard for exercise as a means of preventing dog to dog interactions that frequently happens on walks.
