Story
Hi! This is Sven( like the reindeer off of frozen)🩵 he first was raised on a farm with a farm who abused him until around the age of 1 1/2, he was then rescued by the humanity society in Chicago. He's was then adopted by a woman and given to that women mother who abused him and locked him in a a covered cage for weeks when I found him he had been locked in his cage for a week since the last time they let him out covered in his own urine and feces and had developed a allergy to his own hair leaving him with blood shot eyes and sores. Me and my boyfriend had immediately took him in regardless of the fact that we were in different homes and payed her around $600 for him which was to much considering the fact but we just wanted him out of there it's been 2-3 years now since then and Sven has been a amazing dog trying to get used to the world he lovesss people, puppies and kids! We haven't had him around cats. We are looking for him a home with a yard and someone who will love him. ❤️

She's between 9 months and a year old and we have no idea on breed could numerous breeds and is active as possible. If you want a dog who will be as obsessed with you as you are of them she's your lady! She wants all the attention and all the love. She does love her foster doggy sister even when the feeling isn't always mutual. She is a little too excited for her foster kitty brother and foster doggy brother. She does still socialize with her doggy brother even if he doesn't necessarily want me to. She does take a few mins to warm up to new ppl and I'm not exaggerating for only a few mins. She makes new friends in less than 10 mins with some treats and attention. She would benefit from some training and an active home or at least a fenced yard with room to run. She loves going outside even when it's too cold to be out there. She is fixed and up to date on vaccines. She also gets monthly flea, tick and heartworm meds.  Register to Adopt today: www.spayneuterassistanceprogramofmichigan.org/adoption-info Questions or Inquiries? Story
Ice Cream Sandwich Sam came to us from a kill shelter in Indiana where he ended up by no fault of his own. This is a nice, friendly boy who is good with people & other dogs. He is very sweet & happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His approx. birth date is 05/05/23 and he currently weighs 36# full grown. This is a sweet boy who needs a little confidence. We are guessing at his breed make up. He walks nicely on a leash and knows the sit command. He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. He is also heart worm & tick born illness negative. His adoption donation is $300 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. We do not ship or transport. Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with his forever home. ##2084882##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact stephodellbc@hotmail.com for more information about this pet. Ty is an active 10 year old smooth coat male BC.  He and his brothers came from Central Indiana and are being fostered in Plymouth, Indiana. If you would like additional information on Ty, contact Stephany at stephodellbc@hotmail.com.  For additional information on adopting Ty or any of the other CBBCR foster dogs, go to the CBBCR website at www.comebyebcrescue.org.  Update January 18, 2016   Ty and Noah   These two handsome boys are brothers and are now about 4 1/2 years of age. It isn’t required that they be adopted together but they would sure love that possibility. These boys are very sweet and affectionate boys.  Ty and Noah need to be placed in a home without children.   They are initially a bit suspicious of people they don’t know, Ty more so than Noah, but given a little bit of time to become familiar they are both loves. They are both good with other dogs and regularly interact with other dogs. They both love to chase along after my Border Collie when we are playing fetch.   Noah likes to stalk kitties and Ty could care less about them. They both enjoy riding in the vehicle but both are nervous when they are in an unfamiliar environment. They are both good in the house but are still crated when I am not home. Their crate behavior is much better now compared to when they were youngsters but still need the opportunity to go out for potty breaks often and shouldn’t be left for more than about 4 hours at a time.   Their idea of a perfect home setting would be a quiet, country setting with a large fenced yard for them to play and have fun with their people and to have at least one stay at home parent. They would be best as home bodies and to go along places for ride alongs but are not the type of dogs that will enjoy going EVERYWHERE and being around lot of “strangers” on a regular basis. If they are not adopted together they would do best in a home with another dog because they do seem to feel safer when they are in the presence of other dogs.   Noah has been introduced to some agility obstacles and even though he is hesitant at first, when he is given a little time to get the obstacle figured out he seems to have fun learning how to maneuver the obstacle. These boys are looking for a patient person to provide them with a forever home. Someone who will love them for the soft, sensitive boys that they are and allow them to live in a quiet and predictable home. **************************************************************** Ty has come a long way from where he was at 5 months of age. He is now a sweet and cuddly boy that is very comfortable in his familiar environment. He is excellent with other dogs and fine with cats. He is typically a bit suspicious of unfamiliar people but if given a little space and time he warms up fairly quickly. Ty is a very soft and sensitive boy that is very effected by a change in his environment or routine. He is looking for a home with humans that are very patient and understanding and realize that he will need adequate time to become familiar with them and his new home….this will not happen in 1 week, or two weeks and likely not even 6 weeks. He is a wonderful doggie but wasn’t allowed to have the best start in life and had no exposure to novel stimuli and very little interactions with humans until he was rescued by CBBCR at 5 months of age. He needs a forever home where he won’t have to be crated for more than about 2-3 hours at a time…and a home that will give him plenty of opportunity to go outside for potty breaks…..or someone that would have access to a doggy daycare where he could go daily while his humans are at work away from home. (12/6/14) ******* Ty is a very calm BC. One of the most, calm pups I’ve ever been around. He is an observer and likes to lay and watch what is going on and takes it all in…. He enjoys lounging in the baby pool on hot days….he LOVES squeaky toys but will shred them.  He also like to have a good chew on a hard bone while he is sunning himself in the yard.  He doesn’t like to chase the water hose but loves to chase other dogs while he is chasing the water hose.  He is an affectionate and cuddly guy. Good for bathing and nail trimming and acts reasonable on leash. Again, a softie and is worried when out of his familiar environment. He is the biggest of his brothers but is still in the 40# range. He is a sweetie pie but is soft and will also need a very patient and understanding human in his life. When meeting new people, he is typically stand-off- ish …..but is quiet. He does not bark at people he doesn’t know and will warm up much more quickly than his brother. (9/24/14) ********************************* Ty is the biggest pup of the litter and is just as sweet as he is big!  Born on September 16, 2013, he is one of the softest pups of the bunch and takes a little longer to warm up to new people and new environments than his brothers...but once he does is very much a joy to be around. He also loves squeaky toys and if left to his own with them, will shred them.... He loves playing with other doggies and is good with the kitties. He is VERY foodie and will be a fun boy to train due to his intense food drive! Again, I believe he will blossom into a wonderful companion level boy in the right home, that is patient and gentle and knows how to keep him feeling safe and satified in his new adventures!!(updated 3/28/14)  ***  The potential adoptor will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them.*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 18, 2024, 8:00 am

Story
Adventurers! Hikers! Nature lovers! If you want a dog to accompany you on all your outings, we have the perfect girl for you: Diamond. She is awesome at all kinds of camping+etc. fun! She is hoping that another adventure-fan will adopt her. Diamond's ideal owner would be active and love to hike and explore. She does great on challenging terrain and is the perfect trail pup. She is incredibly coordinated and has managed some impressive climbs. She would love to be your camping buddy and keep you company on all your adventures. She went on a 4-day backpacking trip and did amazingly well; carried her own pack, cuddled up in the tent at night, and kept those she was with feeling safe the whole time. Diamond ignores dogs beautifully when out and about. She redirects simply just to please. She also has done well with some playful, non-reactive & friendly male pups but we think she'd be happiest having all of someone's attention to herself, but if your resident dog is a good boy and is easy-going with other dogs, he may be a great furbrother to Diamond. We would suggest older children, probably about 12ish and up. If you want one of the world's most loyal dogs to be your literal adventure and hiking buddy, Diamond is waiting for you. She is about four years old, weighs about 50ish pounds, and is spayed. If you are wanting to adopt her, come to MHS and we'll bring her out for you!
