Story
We put this pretty girl's photo in the Dog Scanner app and it came back with breeds of Canaan Dog, Border Collie, English Pointer and Stabyhoun. It's hard to know exact breeds for mixed breeds but what we know is she is the sweetest girl with affectionate, innocent, beautiful eyes that pull at your heartstrings! Margarita is about five months of age and is a super kind puppy! She is good with children, good with other dogs and has been exposed to cats with no problems. She is curious and will follow you around and be your sidekick! She is currently around 24 pounds or so and may get to be Border Collie size, possibly 35 to 40 pounds? This precious girl is medium energy so would fit right into most household makeups. She would love to find a family that will help her work on skills such as learning commands. She's a super puppy that with the right supportive family, will make a fantastic companion! Please email us for an application to adopt this wonderful girl! Email: blueridgerescue@aol.com

Story
I acquired Meenie during a trip to LMAS, when a lady came in to return her to the shelter; due to her disability she was unable to care for her. The shelter refused and said that they would euthanize Meenie. I decided that I would take Meenie and rehome her myself. Meenie is 1 yr old, she is very sweet, very high-energy and would do well with a young adult who has the time and patience that she needs. She really needs to have a yard where she can run and play. We intermittently let her and our dogs in and out throughout the day, it helps to burn her energy. She likes to go on walks, and she loves playing fetch. She gets along well with our pets; 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 1 bunny. She is very intelligent; she came to me knowing shake, sit, laydown, etc. I have continued to work with her as much as I am able to. I myself am a disabled veteran, and don't have the ability to give her the attention that she needs. She's such a sweet-girl, you will absolutely fall in love with her.

Story
My name is Paddy and I came here from a shelter. I am good with kids. I love playing outside at the dog park with all of the other dogs. I also love going for long walks and I walk very well on a leash. I’m very friendly and loving and I love being around people and getting attention. I am house trained and I know how to sit, shake, high five, wave, and lay down. I am already neutered and up to date on all of my shots.
