Story
Wrenly is a social ,extremely smart, active and athletic gal. She’s amazing when she gets plenty of exercise and her mind is put to work but can be a bit much when living a lazy life. So she is definitely best suited for an active family. She has a natural desire to herd but isn’t aggressive with other animals. She’s been raised and interacts well with all the cats, dogs, horses, sheep and kids in her foster home. This delightful would be a great addition to a farm, ranch, runners or maybe even as an agility partner.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Murphy will be available mid March. He is under a year old and weighs 38 pounds. We are unsure of breed. Maybe border collie. Please visit our website for more info on our adoption process and adoption application www.barkdogfarm.org                         Before applying be sure you have thoroughly researched Great Pyrenees.  They can be stubborn, prone to barking, overly protective and cannot be off leash.  You WILL NOT train a pyr to boundaries.  Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring dog home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. We do not have blanket criteria regarding adoptions. Each applicant is considered based on many things including but not limited to breed experience, yard ( visible fence preferred) and other animals in home. We try to avoid dogs with same sex households as pyrs typically do not do well with the same sex. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the dog to determine if it is a good match. Your vet and two references will be called.  A virtual home visit done. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place.  If all are in agreement  an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid.  Adoption fees for dogs are $450. for adults over 12 months, $550 for puppies 12 months and younger.  Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place dogs will be determined by our Board of Directors. All dogs will be altered when adoption is finalized. This may involve young puppies be given until a certain age to be altered. All animals are up to date on age appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, heart worm and lyme tested if 6 months or older, microchipped and have a current health certificate.  Proof of a basic obedience course completed is part of our adoption contract within six months. Our descriptions are based on shelter evaluations, input from foster homes and interactions with our volunteers but are in no way a guarantee of temperment. We show animals by appointment only. This is usually done meet outdoors so please dress accordingly. Please email barkingdogfrm@gmail.com with any questions or to arrange a meet and greet.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 27, 2025, 12:14 pm

Story
Duke is a 2-year-old Border Collie mix with a zest for life and energy to spare! This intelligent and active pup thrives on exercise and mental stimulation, making him a great match for an active family or individual who loves outdoor adventures. Duke is eager to please and loves to learn, but he will need continued training and guidance, especially when it comes to his reactivity toward other dogs. Thankfully he is a very food motivated boy, which will help when it comes to training time! With patience, structure, and positive reinforcement, he has the potential to improve in this area. Duke was in foster with young children and did well, so may enjoy having kids to love up on and grow with. He may even not mind having a dog savvy cat friend, with proper slow and supervised introductions.

Story
Meet me Bandit! My name is from Paw Patrol, but I will steal your heart. I'm super easy going, love other dogs, good with cats, and great with kids of all ages too. My leash skills are pretty good for a puppy and rarely have an accident, so I'm pretty much potty trained. I love to cuddle and play with toys. Treats are a favorite of mine. If you are interested in my please complete the application. I am located in San Antonio, TX, but my adoption fee includes transport. I come fully vetted to age, fixed, microchipped and will get a health certificate before I travel if adopted out of state
