ehoming our 4 year old (approximately) neutered male border collie mix. Rehoming because he snapped at my 1 year old. He is generally a good dog, loves attention and to play. But not good for a home with small children, they make him very nervous. He is reactive to people he does not know, he will bark and growl. Once he gets to know the person he is loving. Will growl when corrected for bad behaviors. Tolerates cats, not sure how he would do with dogs, he has always barked and growled at them outside. House trained, does not use a crate, loves to be constantly beside his human. Not UTD on shots. Not in a rush to rehome him as he deserves to be with the right person.

My mom passed away on February 7th and I have been trying to find a forever home for her dog Skye. She is around 6 years old, completely house broken, very smart and listens well. She gets along well with other animals and I have seen no aggression towards people or animals. I took her to the vet because she has a mass under her stomach which turns out to be a type of skin cancer. She has an appointment on Monday March 10 to have it removed. I had the vet do lab work and found out she also has hypothyroidism which accounts for her weight. (she is 85 pounds) The medication they want to put her on is fairly cheap though. She does suffer from separation anxiety. When I am not at home she just lays quietly on the couch or wherever and doesn't get into anything but once I get home if I step out of her sight she whines non stop until I come back.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Cornelius a.k.a. Buddy is 1 year-old and 65lbs of fluffy love! Buddy is the perfect name for him because he is very sweet and snuggly and loves attention- especially belly rubs. He loves every human he meets and is good with female dogs. He is very submissive but will need to be introduced slowly to male dogs. He is playful with males that are smaller than him. He loves to play with his female canine foster siblings, and would definitely appreciate another dog in the house.   Buddy can get pretty attached to his person, so just watch your feet when you are cooking! He is getting more and more independent at home He is, about 80% of the time, just laying around. He's generally a pretty lazy little man.   Buddy is house broken, crate trained, and does especially well with a good chew, like antlers or yak cheese. He has come a long way and can sit and shake and we are working on perfecting his recall.   He has been trained out of jumping, but he does still paw for attention a bit. He loves to snuggle with the 7yo and 5yo tiny humans in his foster home, but can be shy about anyone running up to him. Respectful kids are appreciated for him! He enjoys walks around the neighborhood and is respectful of passersby. He's also gone on short runs with his foster dad, but he's definitely a lazy boy that would rather be snuggling. He is learning everyday what the good life is all about but he will need patience as he adjust to a loving life, he's just a bit shy at first. When this guy trusts you, you will see he is really just a kind, loving, big, bumbling Buddy Boy. This is Bruce, he is about a year and a half old and is an amazing dog. We would not be getting rid of him but me and my wife will be traveling for an extended period of time and will not be able to take him. We have had trouble finding someone to watch him for that amount of time so we would rather him go to a good home where he would be happy. We purchased him on Valentines day in 2024 in Gastonia, NC. He's very friendly, he loves to play and has a great personality. We will miss him but would rather him be happy.
