Story
Meet Arrow! Arrow was born December 4, 2023 and is 6 months old. This little guy is handsome – black and white with all the speckles. Arrow is a mix of spitz, border collie and Mountain Feist. He should remain on the smaller side, less than 35 pounds, when fully grown. Arrow arrived to The Rescue Inn (TRI) in March with his sisters. He’s in foster care now with dogs of all different sizes. Arrow would love a home with other dogs that won’t be offended by his energetic nature and puppy antics. Arrow is looking for an energetic family that will cherish his spunk and will be active with him. A fenced in yard would be perfect for this boy to run around in. Arrow would make a great running or walking partner. Arrow will continue to blossom with guidance and boundaries. He is crate trained and potty trained. Contact TRI at therescueinn@gmail.com or (216) 369-9141 for more information!

Story
Trevor arrived in July as a last-minute save from an Ohio shelter. While at the shelter, he was dubbed Cappy, but his foster home read him a bunch of names and he picked Trevor from the list. He was so excited when that name was read - it had to be his! He loves being outside in the backyard. He will run and play but mostly just loves being around his people. He'll need some help with loose leash walking but otherwise, he's unperturbed by other people and dogs on his walks, although he does fancy birds. This food-motivated boy is smart and eager to learn. He goes into his crate when asked, knows "sit" and comes when called. His house-training is impeccable, too! In the house, he just wants to be with you. He will get upset when you leave the room, and he isn't able to follow you. He is such a sweetheart and wants to cuddle and give you hugs and kisses. He has come a long way in such a short period of time. He is a love bug and is now going up to everyone and giving them the same love and attention he gives his foster family. Please also look him up as well as all our pups on our website https://www.midwestbordercollierescue.org/alldogs Location: Ohio Contact: team@midwestbordercollierescue.org

Story
To meet Tuesday, contact Rachael at 440-773-0270 Hi! I'm Tuesday, and I'm hoping someone will adopt me! I'd been in the shelter for quite a while, so in March 2024, I was placed in a foster home so that I could remember what "home was like, and feel the freedom of running and playing in a backyard. If it would help you decide, I'm "all ears if you have any questions at the meet-and-greet! Here's what I know about myself: I'm housebroken! I know how to ring bells or nudge you if I need to go potty. I'm crate-trained! I especially don't mind going into my crate if I have a couple of treat-filled toys to occupy myself when I'm told to "go to the crate. Sometimes I get too excited with treat-filled toys, or want them all to myself, so it might be best to just use them if I'm in the crate. I don't even have to be in a crate! Once my foster mom got to know me, she let me out of the crate on a gradual basis, and then for full days while she was at work. While she's gone, I sleep, watch for squirrels in the backyard, or play with my toys. I'm a fast learner! I know a few commands: stop, sit, down, stay, come, shake paw, no-jump, and off (sometimes I get too excited to see someone come home!). I'm used to being told to "sit before eating from my food dish. Although I'm still working on heeling, I can heel on the left or the right. I know that when I'm told "okay, I can relax from a command. I love toys! Sometimes I enjoy bringing them to you, sometimes I like fetching them, but sometimes I like taking a toy and being by myself for a while. I enjoy watching birds and squirrels! I like chasing squirrels too! I'm athletic, and I love to accompany someone who's walking, jogging, or running. If you're not into that, my favorite activity happens to be running as fast as I can around a yard. I love going for car rides! I'm outside on a regular basis with my foster mom, either around the neighborhood, or hopping in the car for a road trip into the Metro Park, so I've also gotten used to a lot of different environments while on a leash. I love snuggling once I get to know someone! I know what "kisses means, so I'm happy to offer those too once I get to know someone. I've also been working with my foster mom on meeting other dogs and other people when we're out on the trails. Sometimes I'm nervous meeting new people, but once I get to know someone, I'm very happy to be with them! Although I know I sound close to perfect, I'd do best living without other animals or small children. Contact Rachael if you want to meet me!

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
Kyoshi is an energetic 1yr old female aussie. She is very good with dogs, cats, and young children. We have a 5yr old, 2yr old, and newborn and she is very good with all the noise that comes with those ages. She is crate trained and house trained. She needs a bigger yard and a family that has more time for her. She is timid with new people so it does take time for her to gain trust. She needs some training and human socializing as she ia timid. We recieved her for free and think the man we got her from was rough with her as she is more fearful of men. Once she warms up she is a very loving dog. She loves to be carried like a baby lol! Her belly is sensitive to changes in diet so new foods tend to run right through her
