Story
Are you ready for a fun, lively puppy? Meet SUNI (named for one of our USA Gymnastics superstars), a stunning mixed breed girl looking for a home. She appears to be a border collie/Australian shepherd mix.  Suni is a delightful girl, a bundle of energy and whip smart. She sleeps all night in her crate with no accidents. Suni needs a home where she will get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. She's about 14 weeks old and currently 20 pounds. We expect her to be in the 50 pound range when fully grown. We prefer to send herding breed dogs to homes with physically-fenced yards. She will thrive in a home where she has another playful dog who can match her energy. Her luxurious coat will require regular brushing to keep her from becoming a matted mess. Suni must go to a home in the greater Cincinnati area in order to complete the vetting covered by her adoption fee. If you'd like to meet Suni, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. Suni will go to a home for an extended trial period, her adoption will be finalized when the vetting covered by her adoption fee is completed. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee. Story
Vee is a beautiful 1 year old, border collie mix, weighing approximately 50lbs. Vee was at the shelter and was going to be euthanized for space but no way we were going to let that happen! She is floppy, sweet and snuggly! If you’re looking for an amazing family dog, Vee is your gal. She is dog (not cat tested but likely fine), kid, and car friendly and would do best in a home with a large yard and plenty of affection. She is potty trained and does okay in her crate…we are working on it! Vee is a quick learner as well and loves training time! She is great at walking on a leash. This girl thrives on attention and play time! She also LOVES water! She loves her kiddy pool and splashing in the water. If you’re looking for the ideal family pet you’ve met her! Don’t miss out on this sweet baby! She would love to find her forever home! Vee will be ready for adoption after spay surgery, but we are accepting applications. Apply at pawsomeanimalwelfare.com Adoption fee includes all up-to-date vaccines, spay and microchip.

Story
Meet Kage, the ultimate good boy who's just so darn cute! This gentleman is a pro at house living, fully potty trained, and a master at walking on a leash and harness. He's a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs and loving those backyard playdates with his pals. Kage is a stunning mix of Lab and Border Collie, the perfect blend of intelligence and family-friendliness. He's just the right size, like a mini Lab or a slightly larger Border Collie. When you find two fantastic things that go together like peanut butter and jelly, you celebrate! Kage is that winning combo, and now you can celebrate by making him a cherished member of your family. His temperament is pure gold - sweet as honey with everyone he meets. Now, here's the scoop: Kage is a special needs pup, and he's looking for someone who can be with him about 90 percent of the time. Storms, rain, and loud noises send him into severe panic attacks, and he's been known to chew through walls when anxiety strikes. Crates aren't his jam because of past storm-related trauma. He's also dealing with seizures, so he's on medication for that. Kage would thrive in a local adoption, and he's best as a single dog with no cats or small animals around. He's a wonderful companion for older kids, and he loves nothing more than cuddles and long walks. He's got the whole house training thing down too. His foster mom adores him and has prepared him for his forever family as best she can. Now, the ball is in your court. Remember, when you adopt Kage, you're not just bringing home a good boy; you're giving him the loving, understanding home he deserves. Don't shop, adopt, because Kage's life depends on it! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
