Story
Rex was breeded by a friend and sold to me. He is only a couple of months old. He has become a challenge for me to train and take care along with my children and all of my other responsibilities. I'm hoping to find someone that will love him and take care of him. He is super playful and loves children. He is obedient and has been kept on open property with other small animals while still obeying commands. He is potty trained and kennel (provided) trained.

Story
Meet Kolbe! We got him back in November as a rescue and he has been an awesome dog. Unfortunately, with the trees and grass allergens up, we just learned my oldest of three sons is allergic to him. We need to find him a home with room to roam (acreage or daily walk/run) and people to cuddle. He is around 2 years old and we did Embark so know he is 60% Border Collie, 20% Blue Heeler, and 20% Australian Sheppard. He knows commands, won't run off, is super intelligent, treat motivated and trainable. He's never been aggressive with kids or other dogs, loves hiking, and running at the dog park. He's a great mix of chill on the couch and get-up-and-go. He would make an awesome farm dog with other dogs. He gets excited in the car and will occasionally pull on leash. We're not in a huge hurry so are being super picky about his new home. We love him and want him in the best fit possible. He comes with everything you would need (beds, leashes, harness, food bowls, food containers, etc.)

Adoption Fee: 350.00Weight: 51.2lbs Arrival Date: 06/13/2024Microchip number: 982091073103317Meet Scott! This boy just is so excited about....everything! His favorite thing in the world is just being loved on. He is shy in new environments as he is trying to figure things out but with a confident pet parent/staff member/or volunteer he quickly begins to explore his surroundings. We do not have any history of Scott with children or cats, and he can be selective when finding new canine friends so if you currently have a dog at home it would be best if you bring them in for a meet and greet to see if the two of them would get along. He has done playgroups with other dogs and he would prefer to just follow the person around the yard...instead of play with the other dogs.Scott is a very sweet boy! Spend some time with him and who knows.....you could be his person.

Adoption Fee: $ 400.00Weight: 50.4 lbs.Microchip: # 900235000720836Hi, my name is Peyote. I know, not sure what my human Mom thought she was doing when she named me this...I think I look more like a George or maybe even a dashing name such as Remington, but Peyote.....well maybe you could help me legally change my name? I am here at SafeHaven taking applications for a new home. I would like a place for my new dog bed, maybe a big bathroom (oh, I mean yard) and lots of closet space for all my toys (I dream of one day being that pet that wins the lottery...I mean monthly Bark boxes). What do you say, do you have a home you are willing to share with me?

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Beautiful, gentle and sweet border collie mix young adult.  Meet Zoe, a beautiful and very sweet young border collie/spaniel mix that was found abandoned along with her brother, Ziggy, at a construction site in La Paz, BCS, Mexico. Ziggy and Zoe had obviously belonged to someone, they were very scared but wanted badly to connect with humans. Several people in the  neighborhood pitched in and made sure these 2 had food and water and shade until they could be rescued. Although very scared at first and a bit shy, Zoe soon realized she loves humans and is now very friendly and affectionate with humans. She loves to go on walks, is good on leash, housebroken and will jump in your lap to be petted. She is not reactive at all towards other dogs on her walks, and has realized how much she wants to be someone's forever dog. She's a gentle girl who loves to get attention, and also very athletic and would excel at agility. To meet Zoe in person, visit this link to submit an application! Story
Star is an approximately 1-2 year old, 45 lbs. gorgeous girl. Star is initially shy with new people but with slow and respectful intros is opening up pretty quickly. Once you're her friend she's the funnest girl. She's very affectionate, loves to give kisses, and hang out with you. Star is a high energy dog so she'll do best in an active home. She's also spectacular with other dogs so we would love for her to have another canine companion in the home, preferably somewhat matching in size. She loves to run around with other pups and engage in play. She's a non-confrontational dog and has done well with all the dogs we've matched her with. Star walks well on leash, does awesome in her crate, is potty trained, and knows general commands. She's not a barker and is very quiet. She can be initially fearful in new environments but usually gets used to them within 15 minutes or so. She'll need someone that can provide her with a structured home environment and continue the training we've started. She doesn't seem to have much of a prey drive towards chickens and seemed more fearful of them than anything. She's met our cats and was interested but did fine around them. She would thrive in a more calm home and we recommend respectful children 12 and up.  All of our adult dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. They all receive training to make the transition as successful as possible. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an application on our website www.wallflowersshine.com/application. We always post updates and many videos of our dogs on our IG page, the_wallflowers_shine_project, under “stories” and “highlights”. Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs.
