Story
Nala is a 6 year old border collie mix. She is around 80 pounds. She is high energy and loving once she gets to know someone. She does suffer with anxiety and fear around strangers, so it may require a couple meetings before she is fully comfortable. Once she gets to know someone, she is their best friend for life. My best hope for her is she finds a loving and understanding home where she can live out the rest of her days peacefully. I am looking to transition her to a new home in late May 2025. We can arrange a couple meetings prior to then to get her acclimated and happy.

Story
Hi this is Mara and she likes just about everything. Mara is a 45 lb, 11-month old Border Collie mix who loves affection, squeaky toys, running, walking, playing fetch, and cuddling. In her previous home she had cat friends and kid friends. In her foster home she has small dog friends who she loves to chase and jump over. She is a quick learner and has excelled at sit, paw, and crate. She walks well on a leash and takes corrections quickly when she gets distracted by birds. She sleeps in her crate overnight (after a few minutes of grumbles) and is potty trained. She’s a perfect package with two tiny exceptions: she’s afraid of loud sudden noises like backfiring cars or fireworks and she has a TON of energy so she will need an active partner(s) in helping her get that energy out so that she can cuddle on the couch with you all night long. Mara is up to date on all her vaccines and is spayed. Mara is a sweet and loving dog, she's excited to be in her forever home.Mara is available for adoption on or after 03/30/2025 through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA 15144 KL#16182 ##2346251##

Story
Sadie is a sweet and energetic 8-month-old spayed border collie looking for a new home! She is affectionate and loves exploring on her walks and meeting new people. She is looking for an adopter who can meet her needs as a border collie to match her exuberant energy and mental stimulation. She arrived here from Mexico and is up to date on all of her shots and has been microchipped with a comprehensive medical records. She is friendly with other dogs after a brief introduction. Her house training is in progress but she has only peed inside the house a couple times in the month that she has been here.

Story
Meet Kage, the ultimate good boy who's just so darn cute! This gentleman is a pro at house living, fully potty trained, and a master at walking on a leash and harness. He's a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs and loving those backyard playdates with his pals. Kage is a stunning mix of Lab and Border Collie, the perfect blend of intelligence and family-friendliness. He's just the right size, like a mini Lab or a slightly larger Border Collie. When you find two fantastic things that go together like peanut butter and jelly, you celebrate! Kage is that winning combo, and now you can celebrate by making him a cherished member of your family. His temperament is pure gold - sweet as honey with everyone he meets. Now, here's the scoop: Kage is a special needs pup, and he's looking for someone who can be with him about 90 percent of the time. Storms, rain, and loud noises send him into severe panic attacks, and he's been known to chew through walls when anxiety strikes. Crates aren't his jam because of past storm-related trauma. He's also dealing with seizures, so he's on medication for that. Kage would thrive in a local adoption, and he's best as a single dog with no cats or small animals around. He's a wonderful companion for older kids, and he loves nothing more than cuddles and long walks. He's got the whole house training thing down too. His foster mom adores him and has prepared him for his forever family as best she can. Now, the ball is in your court. Remember, when you adopt Kage, you're not just bringing home a good boy; you're giving him the loving, understanding home he deserves. Don't shop, adopt, because Kage's life depends on it! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Naya is a 3 year old border collie. I am looking to rehome her where she will have more freedom and more space for her high energy lifestyle. She gets along with lower energy dogs but gets anxious very easily. She loves playing frisbee above all else!
