Story
Hi , I'm Indi. I am a beautiful, medium sized boy!I am a sweet, lovable boy. I enjoy back scratches, tummy rubs and cuddle on my terms. I am very easy going. I know some commands like sit and lie down. I'm very smart and can do with your patience. I really want a furever home so I stop moving around and can put roots down. I can be protective and I love barking out the window or when I go outside and see the neighbor. I am crate and potty trained!I haven't met any other dogs, cats or children yet, so I am unsure how we will interact.I'm not invested in playing with toys or fetching the ball but think I can be with a stable home. I would enjoy more activity and interaction so I don't get bored! I do have a soft toy I like to sleep with in my crate. I just need someone to be my companion. From Indi's foster mom:He loves socializing with me. There are times he wants space and will go in his crate where he feels comfortable and safe. The more comfortable he becomes the more interactive he is. He does enjoy lying in bed and feeling the warmth and love as well as giving it back!---My adoption fee of $300 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you'd like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

Story
Hi!! My name is Olive!! My foster says I am the sweetest, most kindhearted girl you will ever meet! I was brought into Pawmetto Lifeline as a 10-year-old mom who gave birth to very sick puppies. I was malnourished, had a terrible cough, and awful flea and tick issues. So I lost some hair on my back, but it's growing back, and my mom says I am just looking beautiful! As much as I tried to be a great mom, I couldn't make the milk in the state I was in, and even with all the help of others, all my babies died. My foster mom thinks I'm still sad about it because I always seem to be looking for something when I'm outside, but she gives me cuddly animals in my bed and I cuddle with them. Being with my foster, I have thrived and am feeling so much better! I don't even look like the same dog! I love to run around in the backyard wagging my tail with excitement, exploring all the things! I love playing with the other dog and cats here! But then when I get tired, I love to come in and crash on my soft bed or the couch and just stare at you in gratitude! I've learned how to use the doggie door, although I still don't love the noise my feet make on the hardwood floors! Rugs my foster mom have put down have definitely helped some! She says I'm so chill, and I love to stare out the front door at the world going by! I'll let you know when someone is around, and I try to be protective, but it's really because the dog that lives here likes to bark a lot! My mom knows I couldn't hurt a fly! I'm also completely potty trained and had no accidents in the house. In fact, I really enjoy going in and out as needed with the doggie door. I don't want a pity party, but I've had an extremely rough life and probably been through so much more than most. But that has all made me loving and grateful to people for helping me!! I really just want a safe place to land where I can know what it feels like to be loved, not taking care of puppies, and I will give so much appreciation in someone giving me the chance to live my best life for the rest of my life!! My foster mom says someone is going to be extremely lucky that gets me, and even says they're going to get a real jewel when they bring me home!! Oh, I hope I find a forever home soon! I'm so ready! My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you!
