Story
Ahem! Treats optional, belly rubs required- that is Abbie's life motto! This silky, chonky, and double-A Adorable girl is looking for her forever family! She is a Border Collie mix of sorts, weighing in around 50# (but ideally around the 45# mark). Abbie is active, agile, adorable (incase we failed to mention that) and as affectionate as they come! She enjoys resting at your feet while you work, when you stop to cook dinner, or get busted standing in the same place for too long. Abbie is loyal, obedient, great on recall, and loves to be near her human at all times. She enjoys going on walks, car rides, and to meander in the yard while her human picks around the garden. She is great with other dogs both big and small, and has zero interest in cats. She is quiet as a mouse, eats and rests calmly in her crate, uses the dog door to potty, and is completely trustworthy in the home. She would love a semi-active home where she can get out to meet people, see new places, and enjoy new friends. Abbie would be great in a multi-dog household and enjoys the parallel company of other easy going dogs. She would also be just fine as an only dog, getting all of the attention!Abbie is fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and health checked. Her adoption fee is just $200. To be considered, please apply online at caws.org. Thanks! Story
Hi! My name is Raine and I am 1 year and 5 month old Australian Shepard/Border Collie/Pitbull mix. I am a very playful girl who will make you laugh with my silly personality, and my howls! I am shy at first, but once you gain my trust I am extremely loving and cuddly. I am also very loyal, I will follow you wherever you go! I don’t do well with other dogs right away, I need someone who will take the time to let me warm up to other dogs by going on pack walks. I have been able to make other dog friends by doing this! I will do best in a home with no other animals. I LOVE to go on adventures, especially paddle boarding and hiking. On-leash days in Millcreek canyon are my favorite because I’m able to enjoy the outdoors without other dogs getting in my space! I also love the snow, I could roll and play in it all day long! I am spayed, up-to-date on my vaccinations, crate-trained and potty trained.

These pups are in Farr West, Utah too!

Story
OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Rico is an independent boy that is happy to do his own thing. He wouldn`t mind an adult friend and would do well with most older, dog-savvy children. He does have a mild bite history; a release of liability form will need to be signed upon adoption. He’s neutral toward most other dogs and would most likely chase a cat unless trained not to. He does know the sit and shake command. Weighs 41 pounds, $25 to adopt

Winter may be coming, but with these fluffy guardians by your side, you'll always be snug and safe in their furry embrace. We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our application review takes about 10 days.  This adoption process will require 3 videos of (outside of your home, backyard, and inside of your home) since we are not able to conduct home checks at this time. We will be calling 2 references (Not related to you please). We will be contacting your veterinarian (We work with 1st time owners) to make sure you have vaccinated all your pets yearly, and that all have been spayed/neutered. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Colorado & Canada. We will book your baby as soon as adoption & transport fees have been received.  If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then go to https://www.petstablished.com/organization/920716    ##2059377##

Story
Benjamin 801-710-1717Teddy is such a sweetheart and he really loves cuddling on the couch. More than anything he wants to always be spending time with his family. He gets anxious about being separated. Although, he is dominant, and isn`t potty trained very well because he has the urge to mark his territory. I believe he would do best with a male owner and no other dogs because he wants to herd them. He is great with our cat and gentle with our young son. With the right training, I believe he would be a great farm dog.
