Story
Meet Oreo! She is a sweet and gentle soul looking for her forever home. She is a perfect mix of chill and let's go on an adventure! To say she is a cuddle bug is an understatement. Talk about smart! This girl knows how to sit and give paw, walks great on leash, loves car rides and is continually showing her intelligence and eagerness to please. Oreo enjoys playing with toys and chews both with her people and on her own. Guess you could say she is both independent and a cuddle bug. While she mostly keeps to herself around her foster dog brothers, she sometimes initiates play, showing her fun and playful side. Just check out her doggy daycare card. If you're looking for a loving and loyal companion Oreo is your gal! She has been cat tested with videos. Oreo is located in San Antonio, TX, but is available for adoption throughout the US. Her adoption fee includes the transport fee and health cert. All our dogs are fully vetted to age, altered and microchipped. Story
This handsome boys name is Max! Max is a two-year-old Border Collie mix who had a rough start at life. He is mostly blind and had cataract surgery over the summer. Unfortunately post-surgery during a re-check of his eyes he is shown to have progressive retinal atrophy, which means his eyesight will continue to worsen, and once totally blind, he will need both eyes removed to eliminate the possibility of glaucoma. He is well adjusted to being blind, but has unfortunately shown reactivity to strangers, both human and animals. He is an intelligent dog with good food motivation and we are hoping in the right home he will be able to be worked with to reduce his issues with strangers. Ideally he should go to someone with a fenced in yard as he loves to play fetch and wrestle with his toys. Once he is comfortable with someone he does remember them and becomes a big, playful sweetheart. He is also excellent for his multiple daily eye medications. In the right home this boy shows promise to make someone a wonderful companion! Please visit the following link on our website to learn about Second Chance's adoption process. http://www.2ndchanceanimalcenter.org/adoption.html August 16, 2024, 2:54 pm
