Story
Leroy is a 2 yeard old male mccnab border collie. He is about 38 lbs and will need to go to an active home. He is crate trained and he hasnt had any accidents in the house or chewed up anything but I dont leave him alone in the house unsupervised because being young I could see him getting into something he shouldnt. He knows how to sit, down,has a decent off-leash recall and we are working on stay, place and other obedience commands. He will need someone to continue working with him on basic obedience to further his skills. He loves to run around in the yard and chase the ball. (Working on fetch and retrieve) Indoors he enjoys cuddling on the couch or entertaining himself with his toys. When he wants to chill out he wants to be right up next to you, and likes to follow you around and be involved in all activities. He would be great for someone seeking an active companion or involved with dog sports

Jay is a sweet boy, a little shy but not overly so. Jay is 6 yrs. old and 45 lbs. NOTE: all animals adopted are taken straight to a local veterinarian for spay/neuter. We do adopt out of area providing adopter is will to make more than one trip. There are NO exceptions, and we do not hold animals. All Kittens and puppies must weigh 2 lbs. for surgery and there are a limited number of veterinarians in our area that will do a pediatric spay/neuter. please note the Rockbridge Spca does not have emotional support animals or service animals. We do not adopt to college students, however, they are welcome to volunteer.
