Story
Shiloh (3/6/22) was one of several community dogs flown from St Thomas to Pet Search in March 2025. Shiloh, a border collie mix, has intense blue eyes and the sweetest personality! Shiloh was one of 15 dogs and puppies being cared for by an elderly woman on the island. We were able to evaluate her when on St Thomas and make arrangements to have her flown to Pet Search. Shiloh is 35 pounds, housebroken and crate trained. She is spayed, vaccinated, 4DX tested and microchipped. She is presently in a foster home with other dogs, cats and children, so we know that she can adjust to every situation. This beautiful girl was never tied out on island, but she stayed very close to her home because she loves being around her family. Shiloh will want to be very close to her new family here in the states. Applications for sweet, gentle Shiloh can be found at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAPS/Dog. Story
Meet Kage, the ultimate good boy who's just so darn cute! This gentleman is a pro at house living, fully potty trained, and a master at walking on a leash and harness. He's a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs and loving those backyard playdates with his pals. Kage is a stunning mix of Lab and Border Collie, the perfect blend of intelligence and family-friendliness. He's just the right size, like a mini Lab or a slightly larger Border Collie. When you find two fantastic things that go together like peanut butter and jelly, you celebrate! Kage is that winning combo, and now you can celebrate by making him a cherished member of your family. His temperament is pure gold - sweet as honey with everyone he meets. Now, here's the scoop: Kage is a special needs pup, and he's looking for someone who can be with him about 90 percent of the time. Storms, rain, and loud noises send him into severe panic attacks, and he's been known to chew through walls when anxiety strikes. Crates aren't his jam because of past storm-related trauma. He's also dealing with seizures, so he's on medication for that. Kage would thrive in a local adoption, and he's best as a single dog with no cats or small animals around. He's a wonderful companion for older kids, and he loves nothing more than cuddles and long walks. He's got the whole house training thing down too. His foster mom adores him and has prepared him for his forever family as best she can. Now, the ball is in your court. Remember, when you adopt Kage, you're not just bringing home a good boy; you're giving him the loving, understanding home he deserves. Don't shop, adopt, because Kage's life depends on it! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Milo – The Marathon Crasher Turned Cuddle Champion! Milo didn’t exactly sign up for a 5K, but that didn’t stop him from joining one! This adventurous pup trotted right into a local marathon and straight into the hearts of his future foster family—how’s that for making an entrance? Since trading in finish lines for fluffy beds, Milo has discovered the magic of toys (they’re amazing!) and developed a special bond with his favorite big teddy bear. He’ll wrestle with any toy, but that bear? Pure love. When playtime’s over, Milo’s favorite way to wind down is being cradled like a baby—belly up, paws in the air, snoring softly. Total goofball vibes. He’s fantastic with other dogs, crate trained, and working on perfecting his leash and potty manners. Smart, sweet, and full of personality, Milo is now looking for his forever home—a place with plenty of cuddles, toys, and maybe a finish line or two to cross with his new family. Ready to fall head over heels for this lovable lug? Milo’s waiting! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Lilo Layla may be a complex name for a simply happy puppy but it helps describe who I am :) i AM a happy/hoppy puppy, my foster mom says i have very high energy- which interprets as..... I need kids and other dogs to wear me out :) See?? Not so hard to interpret!! I am also called: sweet, stubborn, and finally ALL PUPPY!!! That likely doesn't need an explanation :D We believe I am part Heeler and Border Collie. I have serious puppy teeth so older kids better for my puppy teeth :) I am afraid of Cats, even though I want to chase other small animals, I got RESPECT for the kitties! I am crate trained, learning to walk on a harness and leash. She goes from 0 to 100- ALL PUPPY!!! So there you have it! I am the total package! 1) PUPPY, 2) very CUTE, 3) SMART, 4) GOOD WITH EVERYONE (except squirrrels, lol) and AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
🐾 Meet Arlo! 🐾 Arlo is a lovable 3-year-old Border Collie mix (born July 11, 2021) who lives for fetch & balls are his absolute favorite! He's full of energy, super smart, and thrives with outdoor adventures like long walks, hikes. On weekends when he's active he is calm and happy, but during the week, his family's long work hours mean he doesn't get the activity he needs, leading to some restlessness and mild destruction at home or in his crate. He's independent but sweet, loves to sleep nearby (or steal your spot), and bonds deeply with his people. Arlo tested positive for Lymes, but it was caught early and won't impact his life. He also has storm anxiety and is currently on medication to help. Arlo's ideal family is one on a farm, an active person with a yard to run or family who can keep up with his adventurous spirit. He's ready to love, play, and thrive in his forever home. Could it be with you?

Story
Otto is a loving, sweet, eager to please, high energy 1.25 year old border collie. He lives with two other dogs (a border collie and an Australian shepherd) and his high energy can be off-putting to them. He also wants to be the #1 son, and doesn’t like when they get attention (he is not aggressive, he just gets in the way). We have seen how he can be almost the perfect dog when it is just him, so he’d probably be best as an only dog (or have extremely chill dog siblings). He would also greatly benefit from having a human who runs or hikes regularly and can give him the exercise he needs. He has great name recall and is so eager to please and be with you that when you call he is there instantly. Will snuggle and be velcro to his people — so so so much love. We have a cat too, who he wishes would love him (but doesn’t). He has not been around kids but would probably be great. He has never been aggressive and is crate trained and so smart. He deserves the best!!
