Story
The pout is too darling! Slurpee is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 42 pounds. Slurpee is the cutest girl ever with a fun-loving spirit! She's an outgoing, playful, and goofy clown who loves to make everyone laugh. She's an expert at amusing you as she rolls around on her toys to make them squeak, she really is a character. Slurpee also has a love for belly rubs and just being with you. She's looking for a fun family with a yard where she can run off her sillies, who can give her the time and attention she needs to feel loved and cherished. She will also need a home where any children are at least 8 years old, with her rough and tumble personality. Slurpee can't wait to find a forever home where she can make many happy, goofy memories. If you are interested in Slurpee and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Picasso is a very sweet, loving boy that loves to cuddle with his people. He also likes to spend time outside but is not a candidate for daily walks. He does not like other dogs so he is very reactive on the leash. He needs a home with no other pets and no kids. Picasso is a shy boy when it comes to new visitors, he prefers women over men, and will need a quiet home with very little traffic. He is crate trained, up to date on shots, neutered and house trained. Picasso will not be a good fit for an apartment, townhouse or condo. If you are interested in meeting or adopting Picasso please fill out an online application. Questions to cbrookszy@yahoo.com Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. August 18, 2024, 3:27 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Harley Bubbles! Don’t you love it! My foster mom gave it to me and told me it was a special name, it was special, just like me! I came into my foster home extremely underweight. That’s sad, because I LOVE food and am learning all kinds of new tricks to get awesome treats!  I don’t know much about the world. Everything seems new to me! My foster mom is not sure if I was ever taken anywhere and showed anything! BUT, I am now! I love my foster sister! She is very patient with me! I did not know much about playing or toys but she is teaching me!  I have young fella energy but love to snuggle my people when it is TV time! I am an adorable short stocky little guy. That’s what my foster mom says!  I would really love a family who can continue to teach me all about how wonderful this big life can be!  If you think that is you, I hope to meet you soon!  Love, Harley Bubbles     Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay on Petfinder until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application! We will do our best to notify you by email if the pet(s) you are interested in are no longer available. New animals are posted daily, so please let us know if another furry friend peak your interest (there is no need to fill out a second application)!
