Sweet, Energetic Young Boston Girl Penny Jolene is an energetic, 3-4 year-old Boston Terrier girl. We don’t know much about her history as she was an owner surrender to a shelter. The shelter wanted to make sure she had the best chance at a forever home and contacted BTRET to help. Penny is pretty much what you’d expect from a young Boston personality and energy-wise. She is curious, playful and has tons and tons of energy. She loves zoomies around the yard, chasing stuffed toys, playing with other dogs and her people. She can be a little timid and is easily spooked by loud noises or anything unexpected. She chases and growls at cats, so a no-cat home would be best. Penny has been around dogs close to her size and larger and seems great with everyone. She’s definitely more submissive and likely wouldn’t challenge another dog for a toy or food. And even though she loves to run and play, she’s also interested in seeking out a favorite person for some snuggle time on the couch. This may be a new activity for her and she seems to still be trying to figure out how it all works. Penny has been sleeping in her own room at night. She has a hard time settling down when she’s with people and dogs so having her own space works well. She is quiet all night and sleeps soundly. She’s also crate trained. Being a young dog, Penny is curious and can get into a little bit of trouble. It’s best for her to be supervised while she has free run of the home. While you’re away, she would need to be crated or confined to an X Pen or smaller room. Penny is the sweetest, most loving girl and is ready to make her new family very happy. My name is Copper! I am a ~51/2 year old liver/white colored male Boston Terrier. I am a sweetlittle boy, but need to be the only pet in the house; I can be territorial and don’t like to share mytoys. Younger children may be too rough and I may not know the difference in their toys and mine, so I’d be happier in a home with older children or adults. I can be sensitive and like a gentle touch. I don’t like being picked up, but always love beingclose to my humans. Please don’t startle me. Loud noises can also upset me. I can go outsidewith my humans, but I may run off if I see a cat or dog – I like to chase so I need afence or to be kept on a leash. If I am left alone in the house, I usually sleep until my family comes home. I am housebrokenand can be left 8-10 hours. Seeing my family come home makes me super happy. Car rides,walks, and being brushed are some of my favorite activities. I also love my toys – Kongs,Nylabones, balls, etc. If you tell me it’s bath time, I’ll probably jump right into the tub.
