Story
I'm Annie! I am a 3.5-year-old female Boston Terrier. Before coming to DogRRR, I was a breeder momma, but the days of that life are over. Now, I spend my days following Foster Mom, snuggling with my people on the couch, and hoping somebody drops some food while they're eating. I am potty-trained and crate-trained, and I do fine with other dogs. However, no cats, please! I'd be happy in a home with or without other dogs. My foster family thinks I would do better with older kids than toddlers or super small children. My foster parents would describe me as gentle, affectionate, and cuddly.
I am timid at first, but give me a day or 2 to warm up, and you'll see I'm all about getting attention from my people. My foster parents describe me as low energy, especially for a Boston Terrier. The humans (very rudely, I might add) said I need to shed a few pounds, but other than that, I have a clean bill of health. My ideal forever home would have a fenced-in yard because I am still working on my leash-walking skills. I am very quiet and rarely bark. I am a big cuddler and love to wiggle myself next to my people on the couch. I don't mind car rides. When I see my people, I begin to run in place with excitement! I even wag my little nub of a tail, making my whole body shake. I have one energy burst each morning when I run zoomies in the yard, but after that, it's back to the couch potato life for me. I do have one small confession to make: I snore. Loudly. As in so loudly that you may think a bear has snuck into your home.
For my forever home, I have three requirements: a couch I can hang out on, snacks and treats, and a fenced-in yard. If I sound like a good fit for you and your family, apply to adopt me today!
All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.
