Description Personable, sweet and petite girl with a miniature boxer face and body, and tall legs. All black, shiny with brindle brown legs. Personality Hominy fits right in immediately anywhere she goes and becomes a part of the pack. She is great with strangers, new dogs and new places. She lets any stranger pick her up and loves hugs. She is playful, affectionate and wiggly. She makes the vets laugh bc she rolls over in their arms onto her back and shows her belly. Background Hominy was found along the road by a commuter on their way to work. She looked like a puppy. She had a microchip but her prior owners didn't want her back. Already spayed green tattoo. Karma is a sweet, elder pup whose favorite hobbies include following her humans through the house to help out. She likes to boop you with her nose to say hi and then may wander off to sleep in a dog bed. She loves to sleep with her nose adorably tucked under a pillow, but don't let her fool you. She shows lots of energy and jumps for joy when you come home or when she is in a great mood. She is polite and calm if kenneled or left to roam the home. We've never heard her make a peep either. She's as quiet as a mouse! She enjoys spending time outside and would be a great companion for gardening. She tries to potty outside appropriately, but sometimes can't hold it all night. We found putting down pee pads helpful and she uses them if needed. She is very polite and waits for human permission to enter the house or get on furniture. She is very peaceful and respectful with other dogs. She gently play a foster sibling. She would be happy as an only dog or as part of a pack. Invite her to become your gentle sidekick and enjoy this adorable pup in her golden years. This sweet senior girl is low maintenance and is looking for a loving home to spend her remaining years. We estimate she is 10+ years old and only weighs 25 lbs. We think she is a Boston Terrier Mix.

Prince is a cute playful little guy! He has had to adjust to some changes in his 7 years but always adapted. His first owner had him for 4 years from a pup but due to some unforseen medical issues, could no longer care for him so made the agonizing decision to give him up. Prince landed in his second home, adopted my an elderly man who really loved and spoiled him. Prince played with the neighbor children, enjoyed daily golf cart rides, played fetch and snuggled up in bed. He recently moved to independent living with his dad and he sure got to know everyone there. His owner took him for electric wheelchair rides to happy hour where he made many friends. His dad sadly passed away recently so now for his next change... foster home with big dog sisters and brother. After an adjustment period getting used to these big faces, he now plays with the pack! Prince is looking for his final furever home! He would love a home with a lot of one on one time playing fetch and snuggling up on the couch with you! No cats please...a bit too much excitement for him to handle! ASVT does not have a facility; all of our adoptable pets live in volunteer foster homes until they are adopted.
