FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Give a warm welcome to Trooper! He is a 2-year-old, 41lb Boston Terrier mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Trooper is such an awesome dog! He is always in a good mood, wagging his tail, and friendly with everyone he meets. His happiness is definitely infectious to those around him. Trooper does well with other dogs and would be a great additional dog to a home or be fine as an only dog. His ideal forever home would be one that takes him on adventures to explore and see as much of the world as possible. He is very spunky and playful and will make such an amazing dog for any lucky family that adopts him. Trooper is UTD vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Charlotte Good with dogs, cats, kids. Great in kennel. Cautious in beginning with men but once comfortable, very loving. She is still very much getting comfortable with surroundings and will NOT walk on leash so will need a yard while she gets trained. She needs an adopter with patience as she is easily spooked. Charlotte came to the rescue with a broken leg and was pregnant. She was likely hit by a car as her uterus had ruptured and had to be spayed immediately. She has a strong and very sweet spirit and will make someone's family complete. She LOVES kids and is good with other dogs. She has come very far with me in the short time she has been here so I know she will only gain more trust as time goes on. Charlie Mistermeanor is a French Bulldog/ShihTzu mix. Born 10/2/2022. He is a sweet snuggly boy who is also easily excitable. He is compact and dense. He has always been around other dogs and NEEDS TO BE AN ONLY DOG for awhile so he can focus on training and learn manners. He has a funny personality and will bootie bump you for back scratches, just above the tail is his favorite. Loves to run zoomies randomly. He loves kids. He doesn’t bite but does love to nibble and lick fingers and toes, I have tried to stop the behavior but was unsuccessful. He is not neutered, I wait till at least 2 years old. I have tried to make it work for over a year but he is stressing out my 2 smallest dogs that I have had for over 6-16years for over a year but it hasn’t worked. My smallest dog is having an autoimmune stress response which is very costly to treat. I realize I love Charlie but a different environment would be better for him and the other members of our family. It breaks my heart to do this
