Sunshine is a female Boxer mix who was rescued off the streets by a wonderful woman named Hailey who is now unable to keep her (although she would love to!!) Sunshine is a quiet and incredibly loving and sweet dog. She loves to just lay with you and cuddle close. When she is around other dogs, she likes to play fetch and have a good time. An incredible dog who would make an amazing addition to any family. Her foster mom thinks Sunshine may have experienced abuse in the past because when she tries to pet her without warning she flinches in fear and is afraid to drink water or eat food without permission. We are hoping to find a loving home for her where she can feel safe. Sunshine is currently in South Florida and foster is willing to travel for the right adopter. My husband became ill with cancer and we wanted to get a dog to keep him company. We saw a listing on Craigslist for American bulldog puppies and as soon as we saw Kilo we took him home with us. Kilo is now about 8 years old. He is a calm, quirky and peculiar dog. To know him is to love him. His new home CAN NOT have CATS. Kilo has shown signs of aggression to cats and this is why he needs be re-homed. Kilo loves to lounge outside and sun bathe, he likes car rides and playing tug of war but doesnt know his strength. He is gentle when taking treats but doesnt like change in his environment. Fireworks, loud sounds and strong winds will scare him. I am now widowed and living with family that has multiple cats that he has unfortunately hurt. My heart breaks but I know he deserves a better life.
