Story
Sweet Finley girl! She may be around 11 years old, and lacking a leg; BUT her spirits are higher than most puppies we meet! Finley LOVES following us around, cuddling with us, and letting us hear all about her thoughts! Often times Finley can be seen sneezing, grunting, and giving little barks at us to get our attention. She is SO sweet; giving kisses anytime she can, and befriending anyone who loves on her just a little bit! Finley prefers slower introductions with other dogs, understandably, but gets along with them all great! She doesn't mind cats one bit! We think she'll do great in any home with love for tripod dogs! My adoption fee is only $115! This fee covers all of my vaccines, microchip, nex/heartguard, heartworm test, AND my spay/neuter! Think I might be the right fit for your home? You can apply for me here https://animalwelfarefriends.org/adopt/application/ OR you can apply in person when you come visit me any day during business hours! You can even adopt me that same day once approved!! DISCLAIMER: Genetic Breed accuracy is NOT guaranteed; we assess by the following: Interview with or paperwork from with the previous owner Intake evaluation observations (behavior, physical appearance, and energy level) Source documents from which to analyze characteristics Consultation with other staff

Story
Meet Sapphire! This punky girl has got a whole lotta love to share. She's got the sweetest smile and really really likes to get her back scratched. If you've got a habit of talking to yourself too much it won't bother her one bit! Sapphire is deaf! She is looking for a special someone to take her home. Sapphire would do best with a fenced in yard and in a home with no young children as getting spooked awake can be kinda scary when she can't hear anyone coming. Sapphire loves to walk and play and she already knows how to sit and shake! She's a pretty smart gal! Sapphire Boxer/Bulldog Female DOB: 12-27-2020 All our cats and dogs come altered, UTD on vaccinations and micro chipped with a FREE lifetime registration, 1 yr FREE FOA microchip program (replacing the FOA Tag program which now supports our clients outside of Tipton city limits!) food to transition your new family member and some toys!! Story
Hi, I'm Zoey! Not to toot my own horn but I am literally the sweetest 6 year old Boxer/Terrier mix you will ever meet. A few months ago, I got lost with my sister and someone found us running by a highway. They picked us up and took us to a local shelter where no one came to claim us. I was a staff favorite at the shelter but that setting was not good for me. That's why some really nice people came and took me to a foster home instead. I really love living in a home with people who show me love and kindness. My foster family says I'm special because of my resilience. You see, I am a shy girl that does the best with other dogs. They bring out my true self. Watching me open up and blossom in such a short time has filled their hearts with love. I've gone from a shy girl to a playful and affectionate companion, and I'm ready to bring joy to my forever family.. One of the cutest things about me is how I tilt my head when I'm curious-it always makes my foster family smile. And guess what? I love having my nails painted! It's like a little spa day just for me. Speaking of activities, I have a few favorites. I absolutely love playing ball-throw it, and I'll chase it for hours. Going on walks is another favorite; there's so much to see and sniff! When I'm not playing or walking, you can find me sunbathing, soaking up the warmth and relaxing. To help me continue to thrive, I need a home with another confident dog who can show me the ropes. Having a furry friend around helps me feel more confident and comfortable. Patience is key, too. I need a bit of time to fully open up and show you all the love I have to give. I get along well with other dogs, though I'm not sure about cats yet. When meeting new people, I can be a bit shy, but if you give me the space to get comfortable and do my own thing, I'll warm up in no time. I've never shown any aggression-just a little patience and kindness is all I need. With people I know, I'm a total "wiggle butt"! I get so excited and happy to see my favorite humans. I love kisses, belly rubs, and lots of attention. My foster family calls me their little speckled cow because of the black dots on my belly and the trail of water I leave after drinking water-it's my special quirk! The ideal home for me is one with an active family who has at least one other confident dog and loves to throw the ball for me. I also enjoy my spa days, especially when I'm pampered with a bath, some coconut oil on my belly and ears, and a manicure. If you're looking for a smart, loving, and playful companion, I'm your girl. I promise to shower you with love and bring endless joy to your life. I can't wait to find a forever family that will spoil me and shower me with the love I deserve. Zoey is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, microchipped and spayed. She would do best in a home with a physically fenced yard so he can run and play safely.
