Hi there, I’m Hobo, an 11-year-old Boxer who just arrived at Pet Savers after my owner had to surrender me. Life has thrown me a few curveballs, but I’m still full of love and loyalty, just like any good Boxer. I’m neutered and up-to-date on all my vaccines. While we’re still checking to make sure I’m in tip-top shape, I’ll be visiting the vet soon to see if there are any health concerns that need attention. Even though I’m a senior dog, I have plenty of affection to give and a heart full of loyalty for my future family. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who could use a loving home, I might be just the dog for you. Story
Annie is a female tan with white mix breed. She is 2 years old and she weighs 36 pounds. Annie is spayed and vaccinated including rabies. Annie is heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm preventive. Annie is ready for adoption. Annie is people and dog friendly, and only mildly curious about the cat. Annie was owner surrendered (through no fault of Annie’s) by the person who has had her since she was 10 weeks old so she is pretty unsure what has happened, but even with being nervous and unsure she has been sweet. Annie doesn’t know her own strength and needs any other dogs to get her size or larger and robust for play. Annie is potty and kennel trained. She pulls mightily on a leash and is spooked by cars driving by. Annie knows her name, knows sit, and could learn so much more. We think Annie would do best with a fenced back yard for her and a friend to play in. Adoption fee is $150. We only accept applications for a specific dog you are interested in adopting. We do not keep waiting lists or files of general applications for dogs we might get later. Jeff Tarpley Rescue welcomes applications from homeowners, renters, and condo or apartment dwellers. At a minimum, a phone interview will be conducted and a vet reference checked before the applicant may meet their preferred pet. We adopt primarily in the 4 states of the ArkLaTexOma. Applicants willing to travel to Texarkana will also be considered with additional requirements to qualify as approved.
