Achilles is 2.5 years old, he is a very sweet, loving, and affectionate dog. A major couch potato! He loves a fuzzy blanket he can snuggle with, and loves to nap throughout the day. He also loves playing tug-a-war, belly rubs, and head pats. He’s a very chill dog, and loves children.

Story
Junebug is an incredibly loving dog looking for a home with plenty of snuggles to spare. He has leapt into the lap and stolen the heart of every person he's met. Unfortunately, due to human health issues, moving into a small living space, and dog reactive behaviors from Junebug, I am no longer able to match his energy level and give him the best life I know he could have. We are looking for a home that can provide a fenced-in outdoor space, lots of walks, and of course, lots of snuggles. As he is reactive towards other animals, especially dogs, he will need to be the only pet in the home. Also, he has a lot of energy and would probably do better with people over the age of 8 or so. The first two years of Junebug's history are mostly unknown. I have had him for about a year and a half and will be happy to answer any questions and set up a meet-up with him for interested people. Junebug is a wonderful dog and I know there is a wonderful home for him out there!

Make sure you let us know you saw Bruno on Adopt-a-pet.*In a foster home, call for meet/greet* Talk about a lug head, this big guy was found as a stray by a vet tech who tried to find his owner. With no luck he ended up at the shelter. Bruno quickly showed us what a ham he is, he's quite the crooner too! Bruno does bark to get your attention and when he's excited. This smart pup knows sit, shake, down, he comes when called, enjoys walks (he's strong), loves to romp around the yard, loves to "fish" out of the pool, and has done well with the canine friends he's met, he will not share toys and shows some possessiveness of them. Bruno is a big boy, with a big heart, he loves everyone. We say no small children due to his size and tendency to chew up toys. If you've been looking for a a big pup that doesn't require a lot of work make sure to visit with Bruno Mars!

Royalty loves to start her day by sunbathing and slowly eating her breakfast, followed by some sniffs in the backyard or the park. Her other interests include: playing with her toys, car rides, and cream cheese. She knows commands, is house-trained, crate-trained, and has excellent manners (although with those eyes, it's hard to resist giving her extra treats). She can be an independent dog, playing with her toys on her own while we go about our days, but she is happy to receive pets and affection from her people. She has been very calm during her exercise restriction, but she seems excited to practice her fetch and tug-of-war skills once she is cleared to do so. Everybody who meets her adores her because of her sweet disposition and excited tail wags. We believe that loving Royalty is the most special thing that can happen to a person. Her forever home will be very lucky to have her.

Much like Anakin Skywalker, the force is strong with me. For real....I am a beefcake! Don't worry, I have not gone to the dark side, a lot of my beefcakiness is put to use holding my bed down. But anyone who is foolish enough to underestimate my strength and challenge me to a tug game will get a taste of the true chosen one! I am a fun-loving good boy; but it is fair to say there is a bit of puppy escapade inside me at times. Practicing the righteous ways of the Jedi has been an amazing pastime for me to keep me on the light side. I love going for walks through the galaxy (really, it's been the scenic grounds at MAS, but a guy can dream right?). With continued Padawan training from an Obi-Wan Kenobi of my own, we can harness the force to positive outlets for me! Which honestly, I am so treat and reward motivated that with consistency, I am sure I could be a Jedi in no time! I am a fairly sociable guy, I have made some canine friends here at MAS, and when I met a cat I was more interested in playing with my rope toy than befriending it.
