**currently in a foster home, please ask us to meet him! Are you looking for the perfect middle aged man? Meet Polo 9yr Pitbull x M. $175 plus tax. Extremely sweet and playful boy. Doesn't act his age at all! Could play fetch with you for hours! Prior lived with dogs and kids. Polo would prefer a home without cats. He loves to be in your lap, play with his ball, or zoom around outside exploring! Find us on Facebook to be updated on events and shelter news! All animals up for adoption at the Hawk Creek Animal Shelter are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested negative (if age appropriate), up to date on vaccinations (a booster may be needed), given flea and tick preventative, given heartworm preventative, dewormed, and treated for anything necessary: such as dental cleanings, ear infections, etc. Please visit our website for prices and more information about our hours. No pre-applications are accepted, please come to the shelter with your family with no appointment needed. If you have another dog, we'd like an appointment to do a meet and greet with your other dog. Bo came in as a stray. He was found to be roaming around and then after the nice lady who took him home she then later found out that someone down the block had picked him up from someone who was trying to rehome him. Upon bringing him home they decided that he had too much energy and was too strong so when he got out of the fence in yard they decided not to look for him. So the nice lady was able to figure out through this information that his name was Bo, that the person that had to rehome him was due to a death in the family and the best guess was that he's roughly 18 months old. He's a very nice boy but as expected a little unsure about all the noise at the shelter. He has recently been neutered so he is not in a play group with other dogs. If you would like him to meet your dog please bring them along and come meet this nice boy. If you have cats we can cat test him as well. If you have any other questions please give the shelter a call his adoption fee is $175 plus tax.
