Bongo is on the lookout for friends who match his playful vibe and respect his space. We do require a dog meet at the shelter before adoption. He should do well in a home with kids. He thrives with respectful play and having space to himself at times. Bongo is not a big fan of cats and would need a household that is cat free. Here's an update from Bongo's Foster Home: "We’ve learned that Bongo knows the commands for sit, down, come here, and of course, “no!”. He loves to play fetch and is working on the “drop it” command. He will also go in his kennel when asked and sleeps there through the night. He is fully house-trained and quickly got into a good bathroom routine in the yard. When guests visit, he’s excited but has good manners and does not jump up on people!
