This silly girl ate a sock and her previous owner could not afford the surgery. C2CND stepped in and rescued her. She’s a high energy dog who would do best with a fence and a privacy fence would be even better. She will bark when she needs to go outside. Bella is crate and potty trained. She is a very affectionate dog once she warms up to you and really needs a patient, assertive owner who will work with her. She also needs an active family who exercises her frequently. Her foster notices that Bella’s behavior is heavily influenced by the amount of exercise/activity she receives and her anxiety levels. Bella would fetch a ball for hours if you let her. She does go on walks but sometimes gets distracted. She loves to snuggle and be near her human. She also likes to chew on bones (Benebones seems to be her favorite). Her foster says Bella is a dominant personality who is dog selective and dog aggressive. Bella is still working on her leash skills, while she does well on the leash most of the time, she can be easily distracted. Slow introductions are best. Bella would fit best with a family with teenagers or no young kids and as the only dog. Suzie is approximately a 7 year old pitbull mix weighing about 60lbs. She is fully vaccinated and now looking for her forever family. She’s been with her foster mom and trainer Lilly now for 9 months. Can you believe she’s had zero applications? Suzie loves people and loves to be close by and be pet. She’s loved to cuddle up on the couch or on her dog bed. She is easily entertained with bully sticks, benebones, and toys. She loves to sunbathe in the backyard and lay where ever the sun hits and will gladly accept a belly rub while doing so. She is crate trained, house trained, and sleeps quietly in the crate any time needed. She rides well in the car in a car kennel. She has a goofy personality with lots of silly behavior that will keep you laughing all day. She has done well with all the dogs she has met and been with. She loves meal times and will come in from outside doing her "bunny hops". Look out for her classic "sassy" lip smack. She is very gentle when taking treats and knows most basic commands. She's doing well with bath time and grooming. She loves going for car rides and taking walks to sniff all the new smells. Car rides and walks are definitely high on her list of favorite things (besides snacks). She is also working on other commands like place, here, heel and wait. She does well passing other dogs and gets along well with other dogs in the house. Sassy has high prey drive for small critters like rabbits or wildlife, so she would do best in a home with no cats and at least a 5 foot fence. While Suzie hasn't spent much 1 on 1 time with kids, her friendly nature suggests she would be good with them. She has done well passing play grounds and athletic fields.
