Story
Willow is a sweet dog, but we have 2 toddlers, 4 other dogs 3 inside cats, so we have our hands full! My wife got her as a puppy from a neighbor almost 4 years ago, and we have given her a good life on our small homestead, but she is difficult to keep pinned up, and she likes to wonder onto our neighbors property, and they have complained that she is disrupting their cows and other livestock. We have tried to reinforce our chainlink outdoor enclosures, but she just takes it as a challenge for how she can either dig out, or break a hole through the metal! So, in order to be a good neighbor we are trying to find her a good home with someone else. She also gets very anxious during thunder storms, or when our neighbors are shooting guns, and this makes her even more aggressive about breaking out of her enclosure and trying to get into our house. She is great with other animals & people, and she can sit & lay-down. She comes when called by her name, Willow

Story
Rocky is a playful, loyal and strong companion. He is great with our 3 elementary/middle school aged kids. He has been professionally trained through Off Leash K9 out of Greensboro,NC and knows commands sit, place/stay, come. He is very food motivated so the sky is the limit on training him new things. He enjoys playing fetch and swimming (which is rare for a boxer). He is a good walker for a handler who commands authority. He has been working through some anxiety around other dogs while on walks but usually putting him in sit until the stimulus passes fixes things. Recently he and his littermate have been fighting over attention and hence the need to re-home. He has not shown aggression toward other dogs he has come in contact with. This is an athletic smart breed and will need regular exercise and structured tasks.

Story
Meet Rocky, a handsome Boxer mix who found his way to us after being brought in as a stray. Thankfully, a kind-hearted person took him in for a few days, hoping to reunite him with his owner before bringing him to the shelter. Rocky isn’t just adorable—he’s got some fantastic skills! He’s both potty trained and crate trained, according to his finder, and he already knows some basic commands, making him an ideal companion for any home. You should see him when he meets other dogs—he just bounces joyfully! And the best part? He even SMILES!?? Rocky’s enthusiasm is truly infectious. He’s here at the shelter, eagerly waiting for someone special to come and share their love with him. Come meet him and feel the warmth of his wonderful spirit!

Story
Meet Sunshine, a wonderful Rottweiler/Boxer mix full of love who is eager to find her forever home! She was surrendered to the shelter when her family had to downsize, and now she’s ready to share her joy with someone special. Despite this significant change, Sunshine radiates love and excitement as she searches for her new family! Her previous owner shared that Sunshine is fantastic with children aged 4-12 years and small dogs, although she hasn’t had the chance to meet any cats yet. Having lived indoors and in a fenced yard, she may need a little help with her housetraining, but with patience, consistency, and the abundant love she gives in return, we believe she can thrive. If you’re looking for a furry companion to brighten your dreary winter days, Sunshine is the perfect choice. Come meet her—she’s eager to wiggle her little nub tail into your heart!
