I live with two other dogs and a cat and I love people and kids! Daddy has not had me fixed and I need my next visit to get yucky shots. I was rescued at 4 months old but daddy is a medically retired Gulf War vet and needs someone to love me as much or more than him! I get along with my sister dog and cats in the house and other animals just fine, but don’t like the other male dog and now we are just separated to keep the peace. Other than that, I’m an angel!

Lizzy is the "splooter." She walks well on a leash and loves climbing in your lap. She just recently was introduced to a ball and is hooked! She likes exploring but prefers the ball. She also jumps when she is excited. Lizzy is all about people yet picky about other pups. While we know she would do well as the only pup in a home, we welcome you to schedule an appointment to meet her and bring your pup to meet her. It's always a good idea to do a brief dog-to-dog assessment with pups like Lizzy. Lizzy is fully vaxed, dewormed, spayed, and HW negative! Frank is vaccinated, dewormed, altered, and microchipped. He is a big (66 lbs) old baby! He is quite handsome with that tuxedo going on. He walks well on a leash and is ready for further training. He is food motivated but takes treats with a soft mouth. He has this way of leaning in to you and moves on in to the cuddles. He wants his person and will enjoy sitting on the sofa next to you or probably in your lap. He loves attention, especially, belly rubs. He was recently returned because he didn't do well with his adopter's cat. It can be quite difficult on a pup when they are returned to a shelter after having lived in a home, so we hope we can get him in a home real soon. Before he was adopted, we took him to a large event and he was such a good boy. He was great around lots of people, including children. He did get a little jealous when one of our other pups wanted to cuddle with his handler. We know the right home is out there so please stop by and meet Frank!

She would love another dog in her forever home that is confident and well behaved, to help show her that new things aren't scary. She does have some anxiety, and is currently taking medications that are making a huge difference for her. She would do best living in a home with experienced dog owners who are patient with her, and willing to provide a consistent environment for her to thrive. She would do well with kitties, but they should a dog savvy cat would be best. Cassi can be vocal, so she would not do well in high density housing. Cassi needs humans who are not gone for long hours. All humans in her forever home must be 12 years of age, or older. She requires a fenced in yard (physical fencing no invisible fences please). She is up to date on preventative medications, vaccines and has been spayed and micro chipped too. She loves to wrestle with her canine pals, and would adore another dog in the home to play with. Her favorite activity is to go on walks and hikes, so she definitely requires an active home that will supply regular exercise. Her second favorite activity is fetch, so sessions of retrieving between exploration sessions is a winning combo for her in life. But don't worry, one this girl has an outing- she's all about the cuddle sessions too- fair warning- she's a total couch and bed hog... She lives with cats in her foster home, but does best with a confident cat who will not be timid in her presence. Only confident, and dog savvy cats would work with Celeste- she requires boundaries where cats are concerned. Celeste would do best in a home where her humans are not gone for long hours. We have had Ivy in rescue since December of 2023 when she was just a pup. She’s now 9 months old and so ready for a home to call her own! We understand the thought of adopting a #specialneedspup can be fairly daunting, but we’ve done the hard part for you! Ivy’s medical needs post-surgery were definitely akin to having a newborn baby. Schedules for her medicine, small meals throughout the day and weekly weigh ins….not to mention the meal prepping! Thankfully through trial and error we have a diet that works great for Ivy which is very manageable and she has no hindrances to leading a normal dog life!
