Alice came to Oklahome in October 2023 when we were contacted about a litter of puppies left in a wire crate on a porch in the rain. She was adopted into a loving home, but returned when her new owner suffered a terrible injury that prevents her for caring for Alice. Her prior owner put so much love and work into training Alice and now we are hoping to find her a forever family to continue loving her! Alice has the softest velvet ears and the best head tilts! She always looks at you when you talk like she understands what you’re saying! Alice loves to play in water when outside! Sprinkler or kiddie pool, she’s in! Alice LOVES to play with other dogs and is good with kids. She loves to snuggle at nap time but gets hilarious zoomies during playtime! Alice is a very treat motivated and a smart girl! She has learned her basic commands, is crate trained, and will ring a bell to go let you know she needs to outside to potty. Scooby is about a year and 1/2 old Great Dane/Boxer mix. He is about 60 -70. pounds. Scooby is so sweet and it was hard for his foster mom to get great pics because Scooby loves to be super close to her. As she would take a step back to get his face in the frame of the picture, then he just scooted forward. He is a big sweetheart. He is very energetic and LOVES to chase balls and squeak toys. Scooby is crate trained and potty trained. Scooby's time was up at a local shelter and he knows his foster mom said yes to him right on time. He showers her with lots of love. No kitties for Scooby. “This is what fostering looks like”, from Jasmin’s foster mom. Meet this pretty girl, Jasmin. She sure was a sad case when I brought her home. She slept underneath the car in the garage the 1st night. She was terrified so I let her stay there. I set up food, water and a blanket next to the car. Jasmin was rescued from CoalGate, OK, I think from the shelter. She had puppies, had mange, and was malnourished. The 2nd day she stayed mostly on my back patio in the rain. I finally got her in the house and she only would stay in her large kennel with plenty of food. I would pay attention to her and would try to pet her but she was not having it. So I went about my daily business and would acknowledge her, let her out, feed her with small touches. The biggest impact was my own dogs. She would begin to hang with them but stay her distance from me. Jasmin watched how they interacted with me. If they could trust me she could too. It wasn’t too long before she was sleeping on the bed. She developed trust through my own dogs. That why fostering is so important to dogs/pups/cats. Socializing them gives them an advantage of finding a forever home—forever. She loves to play with the ball, her brindle coat is filling in, she has gained weight, she was already potty trained, and she loves to run in the field with my dogs. She also loves to cuddle and give lots of kisses. She is a hound/Pittie mix about 35/40 lbs. She is spayed and current on her shots. She is learning manners with her leash. She is about 3 years old and definitely gets along well with other dogs. Not sure about cats. She loves my grandbabies. ##1110211##
