November came to us as a scared and skinny stray who just wanted some love, and she blossomed in our care. She has come up to a healthier weight, and is showing us what a social butterfly she can be! Novie has become a big lovebug, she is all happy smiles and butt wiggles, and has never met someone she didn't love. She does very well with other dogs, but as always we require a meet and greet if you already have any at home. She also does great with kids, but we have not yet tested her with cats. Meet Apollo, formerly known as Doozy. Apollo arrived at our shelter as a stray alongside his siblings and was soon after adopted. However, we received a call from an animal control facility informing us that Apollo had been in their care and had no luck getting in contact with his owner. As a result, Apollo has returned to our shelter and after multiple attempts to contact his mom, Apollo is now in search of a permanent home. Apollo is a 47-pound, 31-flavored mix, with an estimated birthday of late 2022. This handsome boy has an extremely outgoing personality. He absolutely loves everyone he encounters, dogs, cats, and humans. He has been socialized with large groups of kids such as Girl Scouts, 4-H, 1st graders,etc and has shown particular love for children. Apollo's friendly nature would make him an ideal companion for any household. He walks well on a leash, is crate-trained, uses the outdoor area of his kennel for potty breaks, and has mastered commands such as sit, shake, and lay down. Apollo enjoys anything peanutbutter, playing fetch, going for car rides, playing with his friends, and snuggling up for cuddles. Booey came to us through Animal Control after he was seized from living in horrible conditions, he was underfed, unsheltered, and uncared for. He spent lots of time in recovery with us, and is finally cleared to find a family that will give him the love and spoiling he deserves! Booey is a handsome boxer mix, and was born 06/25/2022, his average weight is 65lbs. Booey has a personality anyone would love, he is such a sweetheart to his core! Some of Boo Boo's favorite things are naps in the sunshine, running around in playgroup with his many doggy friends, and getting lots of yummy treats for being such a good boy! Some of our favorite things about Booey are his love for snuggles, his always wagging tail, and his goofy Elvis smile! I may be playful but I know how to read a room and when to chill. We asked my foster dad for a list of things about me- he did a pretty good job! He loves to share your pillow at night (or try to take it all) He chases his tail like a tornado. Gives you little love sniffs to the face. Rolls over on top of you for belly rubs. Like to lay against your legs while napping. Peeks his head in the shower and wants to lick your wet legs. Follows you everywhere. At ALL TIMES. He gives good hugs. I can’t think of one reason that would make you not fill an application out for me unless you hate fun.
