Story
We found our dog on the side of the road out by Carpenters Bluff, It was a wet, rainy day, and she was skin and bones. We took her in and began the process of regaining her strength and her nutrients. We have six cats and did not have a problem with any of them and we had one small dog at that time that she didn’t have a problem with either. She sleeps in a cage at night. She needs to go outside and potty. She loves her run and play fetch. We unfortunately have had to make a move and take her with us and we need her to find a great forever home. She is very playful and a very loving dog.

Story
Nora is a sweet 9-year-old pup who recently lost her beloved human. She is now looking for a new family to share her love and companionship. Nora is the perfect mix of playful dog energy and laid-back cat vibes. She is fully house-trained, loves her walks, and is always up for a game of fetch or a cozy snuggle on the couch. What makes Nora extra special? She is great with cats! In fact, She is so chill that we like to call her a "cat-dog" ; Whether you have a feline friend already or just love that easygoing attitude, Nora will fit right in. At 9 years young, Nora still has plenty of pep in her step and lots of love to give. If you're looking for a loyal, fun, and affectionate companion who is as cool as a cat and as loving as a dog, Nora is your girl!

Story
Meet Fleming! She is such a good girly! She loves everyone and we love her. Fleming is very playful and high energy. She would love a dog sibling who is super playful as well. She is REALLY into her people and wants to be wherever you are. Fleming loves all humans but also has a very impressive vertical she likes to show off spontaneously so maybe best to not have teeny tiny humans in the home. Probably good to note that Fleming is just under a year old so still a bit of a baby herself. Fleming's safe place is her kennel. She sleeps there at night and hangs there whenever we leave the house. She also loves to run and play outside. She is an expert rabbit watcher/ chaser. Literally the happiest dog l've ever met! We are looking for a family or individual who loves her as much as we do. Fleming is a unique mix of German Shepherd, Belgian Malinois, Chihuahua, and Cattle Dog, making her a stunning and one-of-a-kind pup. She embodies the best traits of each breed, resulting in a remarkable and versatile companion. Fleming is also potty trained, which means no more accidents inside the house. One of Fleming's greatest qualities is her ability to get along with other dogs. She is great at socializing and enjoys the company of her furry friends. Whether it's playtime at the park or a doggy playdate, Fleming is always up for some fun and games. Smile, because Fleming is waiting to become a part of your family. Start the adoption process today and embark on a journey filled with love, joy, and endless snuggles. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Story
Puppy dog eyes overload! Max knows just how to melt your heart with his eyes. All love and sweetness from this boy. He is happy, well behaved and so smart. He loves to be outside and romp around then come inside and relax on his bed. He is very friendly and also a little shy at the same time. He prefers to just stay home and chill vs going out on car rides and adventures. He says leave me at home but don't be gone long because I'm just patiently waiting for you to come home. So...he's not one to go run and jump in the car when the door opens. House trained, dog friendly and lives with cats. His owner was admitted to assisted living and sweet Max was too big to make the move and thus found himself looking for new home that will love him for all the love he has to give! All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, micochipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.
