Ruby Rose is a sweet girl with big feelings and she will share them with you often and occasionally loudly. She loves to play catch with her rope, anything involving water and snuggles with her human. She is treat motivated and responds well to positive reinforcement. She knows how to sit, lay down and to get on her spot. She tells you she needs to potty by whining, barking or gently at the door. She is a true pack dog and sleeps beside (and occasionally in) her human’s bed. She is an excellent guard dog. She needs a patient male human, a yard to run in and lots of love, toys and treats. She has been my son’s beloved companion, but he now travels too often with his new job. With her big feelings, sometimes anxiety gets the best of her. She takes daily medication and occasionally needs to have her confidence pack (her hot pink tactical vest) put on. She is extremely storm sensitive. She does well with larger dogs, but does not get along with smaller animals of any species.

Meet Brandy! Sadly, one of our longer-term residents, Brandy has been with us since June last year. She was abandoned in a yard and brought to the shelter before her first bday so she still needs dog socialization skills but she's an EXCEPTIONAL dog. Brandy is like a fine expensive wine; she's a sweet girl with some special about her. She is inquisitive about the world around her and would love to see more of it. She does well in the car and will never turn down a snack. Her favorite snack is Sonic fries! She does great on a leash these days and loves belly rubs (along with kisses and pets) and appreciates riding in the front seat to get a good look at everything if you let her. Brandy is fully housebroken and loves to be a couch potato. She is also very chill with her person and is very neat and clean.While her strength might be the first thing you notice about her, her fierce yet gentle personality will let you know just how much she loves you and how she loves to be by your side. If you had to sum up this sweet foster pup in one word it would be happy. Lollipop, also known to her foster family as Lainey Lou, is happy to just be in your presence. She loves to play and because she is still a puppy has a lot of energy that she needs to get out so she would love to go out with you have some adventures. But, on the flip side she is the best cuddler. She loves all kids (big and small), other animals, and even cats and rats. She absolutely loves water. Whether its bath time, the hose, the pool, boats, she loves all of it. She was super nervous of men wearing hats but has gotten a lot more trusting in the past months. She is does well on a leash and loves taking trips to and even going to PetSmart. She is kennel trained and content with a bone and some snacks. She is a beautiful girl with so much love and loyalty to give so come and ask us about this sweet pup so you can take her home today.

Brandi gets along with other dogs (she has doggy siblings in her foster home) but does need a slow introduction before she feels 100% comfortable. Brandi's foster mom describes her as loving and goofy - just look at the smile she shows off in all of her photos! Brandi likes to think she is a small dog and will want to crawl into your lap the moment you sit down. She absolutely loves playing with just about any toy she can get her paws on. Brandi is treat motivated so it is easy to teach her tricks and manners. She would be the perfect dog for any family with loves and hugs to give!
