PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - MINNIE BREED - Boykin Spaniel mix SIZE - About 20 pounds AGE - 4 months (born April 2024) GENDER - Female MEDICAL CONCERNS - None known BEHAVIOR CONCERNS - None known SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Minnie is a perfect little gal who came to us recently from a very full shelter in eastern NC. Not only is she adorable, but she is super sweet and very playful. There's nothing like a darling puppy to steal your heart and Minnie has stolen the hearts of all our rescue volunteers! Minnie is unlikely to be a large dog, more likely she will be 30-35 pounds when fully grown - a perfect size for most homes. How Minnie would love to have a home that would cherish her, teach her to romp and play and understand the true jewel that she is! Minnie is in good health, spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. We are seeking a home with an active adopter who has the ability to work from home or be at home the majority of the day to spend time with this her. A home without larger pets and with a fenced, secure yard will give Minnie room to run and play safely. She is not well suited to small children or very small dogs who could be upset by her puppy enthusiasm, but will fit nicely into many other homes. Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Adopt a Pet inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of Minnie and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and your family to meet hert at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting Minnie and determining that she matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner.
