Story
Ruger is a 7 year old English Spring Spaniel. He is VERY high strung and needs a home with lots of space to run and learn to hunt. He prefers couches and beds instead of the floor. He’s a sensitive guy when it comes to his skin and ears. With floppy ears like his, he does get ear infections spring through end of summer. Ruger is particular on what dogs he likes and needs slow introductions. If he’s going to have a play date, he’d rather they be smaller than him and female. Rugers new home should be kid free, as small children and easily accessible food can cause resource guarding. This is unfortunately the reason our family needs to rehome him. It’s preferred his new home is familiar with the breed and has the time to work with him to address some of those behaviors. He knows basic commands, house trained, kennel trained, and walks well on leash. He is pretty stubborn but very loyal. He is the biggest snuggler and loves a good couch nap on a lap.
