DEUCE IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE HE IS ADOPTED! This is DEUCE. He is a gorgeous striped tabby. He will need a special patient person as he is still extremely shy.  With the right amount of patience, he will make a great kitty in a quiet home.  He is very food motivated.  He is not recommended for dogs or children. He would probably do best with a gentle outgoing companion to help him get out of his shell. He  is neutered, has had all age appropriate vaccines, microchip, and a confirmed NEGATIVE FIV/FeLV test.  His adoption fee of $295 also includes the transport to CT.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring her up north once she is adopted. If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website and complete an online application using this link:  https://newbeginningsanimalrescue.net/adoption-application   Once your application is received and processed you will be contacted by an NBAR Volunteer. THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 1:30 pm

MORE PHOTOS VIDEO AVAILABLE for approved adopters. This week we have a SUPER rare duo available for adoption - and WOW are they amazing!! Brussel a 3yr old SCOTTISH STRAIGHT (petfinder does not have that breed available for us to list) and 6-7yr old Sprout an EXOTIC SHORTHAIR- king and queen of purring and head butting - best buds who are crazy fuzzy adorable. These GORGEOUS BEAUTIES were very loved but their owner got a puppy and the dog started attacking them so they have to be rehomed - truly a sad tale! They have been raised with love and spoiled all their lives so we are picky about their new home situation to make sure transition goes smoothly. They FRIENDLY beyond belief so should transition easy. LOVE everyone! These two are suited for most home situations - they love quiet companionship with adults or a home with older children (small kids might be too loud) - they take time to decompress, but then are by your side non stop. Brussel LOVES to play with a buddy cat if u want a play buddy while Sprout (who is tiny btw) rather likes to be a diva and likes her private and play time. Once relaxed, we know they are affectionate, super snuggly, and simply the most purrfect kitties! Can be carried and LOVE belly rubs already! These two GORGEOUS beauties are such an amazing pair - sweet as they come! They love each other but will also fast bond to you - loving you like no others. Please help us get them to go to their forever home and show you just how much love a family can give! They are NOT able to go separate so please do not ask. HIGHER DONATION APPLIES FOR THESE RARE BEAUTIES and PLEASE do your research on these very cool breeds as they do need daily faces wipes etc... DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO ADOPT THIS WEEK - PLEASE ADOPTER instructions and SHOPPING LIST protocols for advice prior to adopting SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY - ADOPTERS UNDER 23 yrs old MUST HAVE GUARDIAN/PARENT COSIGNING. If you want to apply - please go to https://rnrpets.org/cat-application/ for application to be approved. Story
Becket is a sweet wonderful 9-year-old British Shorthair who had developed peritonitis 3 years ago after stealing some spicy leftovers. He ended up hospitalized, and developed complications from anaesthesia after they inserted a feeding tube. Becket fell into a coma, spending three weeks at home unconscious and immobile. Just when it looked hopeless, he miraculously recovered and gradually was able to regain his old physical condition in the course of next six months. The problem was that our two other cats just could't adjust to Becket's new ways of interacting with them which changed very subtly in him after that medical event but which the other cats seemed to pick up on, and never seemed comfortable with him after being best pals for years. We tried our best for two years to get them to move on, and now there are no stand-offs, but daily life is still quite stressful. At this time we feel it would be best for everyone if Becket could find a home with no other cats. Dogs are fine!
