Our application review takes about 10 days.  This adoption process will require 3 videos of (outside of your home, backyard, and inside of your home) since we are not able to conduct home checks at this time. We will be calling 2 references (Not related to you please). We will be contacting your veterinarian (We work with 1st time owners) to make sure you have vaccinated all your pets yearly, and that all have been spayed/neutered. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Colorado & Canada. Odin is the sweetest, most tender cat. When I found Odie, he had been run over and I thought I was taking him to my vet to be euthanized. But, they thought there was a small possibility he could make it. So, I brought him home. He made it! He lived in my bathroom for a year. It took that amount of time to gain his trust. He has some slight mobility issues due to his accident. And fragile control over his bladder. As long as he feels safe and secure, he doesn’t have bladder issues. When he has anxiety, his bladder sphincter freezes up and he needs some extra care. It’s been a slow process helping him find his courage. I have a wild orange tabby that terrifies Odin. He wants to be friends but Walter (orange tabby) doesn’t know how to interact in a relaxed manner. It’s become clear that they are not going to integrate. Odie gets along with my dog, although he is pretty hyper and it stresses Odie out. So I believe he would do well with other calm animals. Or alone with a loving human.
