Story
Penny is a 19 month old Brittany/Hound mix. She is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, Heartworm negative and on preventative.  She minds her foster mom really well and has great recall. Penny knows the command sit and is working on stay. She is not very vocal and does not bark much. She loves running in the yard and is good with other dogs. Penny loves her toys and she also loves treats. Penny is a very healthy girl. Penny's foster mom says she is not destructive and loves to lounge in her dog bed. Because she gets overly excited, Penny jumps on people, but her foster mom is working with her.  Because of her jumping, Penny will not be a good fit for a home with small children.  Penny is being fostered in Tennessee. Her adoption fee is $325.00 and can be transported up to 1400 miles via our Canine Railroad with the adopter taking the last leg, usually less than 100 miles.  Applications for Penny can be found on www.nbran.org.  For more information, email dltuthill@epbfi.com or ztasuzanne@gmail.com.  August 18, 2024, 5:43 pm

Story
Meet Victor being fostered in Michigan, a super sweet 7 month old l/w male who needs a foster to adopt or adopter. He does have hip dysplasia & will need surgery when he gets older. He gets along just great, easily jumps up in the bed. He loves to be in your lap & gives lots of kisses. He’d be great for someone looking for a service or emotional support dog. Gets along great with other dogs, he's not been introduced to cats. If you are looking for a young dog that you can help make a difference in their life, he may be the boy for you. He does need a physical fenced in yard, another playful companion would be wonderful. He gets along great with children and all adults. Victor is mostly housetrained, he does sometimes have an accident in the house. He does crate although it's not his favorite place to be. He loves to go for walks and in the backyard he hunts butterfly's and in the evening lightening bugs. If you are interested in Victor please fill out an adoption application at https://www.nbran.org/adopt/adoption-application  Your state coordinator will contact you to help you understand our process. Please contact Georgene Norris @ georgenenbran@yahoo.com for more information about Victor. He's a terrific boy and has lots of love and kisses to give! Nbran will transport up to 1400 miles for the perfect home for Victor. August 18, 2024, 5:43 pm

Story
Hi everyone. I'm Leo. Like Leo the Lion. And coincidentally, I just turned 3 so if you're into astrology, I am a Leo! I am a happy, healthy active 37 lb young man and am currently in the market for a forever family. I am located in London, Ontario (Canada) I used to be a kennel/breeding dog but I only live inside now. I am crate trained and good in my crate, but I'd likely be pretty happy to sleep with you, and I like to cuddle with you on the couch. I am not yet trustworthy when left alone, so put me in my crate and I'm happy.  I'm learning leash walking and do not have it mastered yet. I am your typical active Brittany and do need a fully fenced yard to RUN and RUN (two of my favourite things). I am very interested in squirrels and critters, so cats are a no for me.  I like all dogs and people. I'd be good in a home with older kids that I can't knock over too easily (working on that too).  I currently am an only dog and would be good with that again with lots of exercise but I do very much like the company of other dogs with my energy level.  I'm up to date on my vaccines. Heartworm negative. Neutered.  Microchipped. Ready to GO!  So if you think you're my new peeps, please submit an application online. http://www.nbran.org/ My adoption fee is $400 US.   Contact the sandratoal18@gmail.com once you have submitted your application.   A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your local coordinator, before talking to the foster of Leo. Transportation can be arranged up to 2200 kms/1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles. August 18, 2024, 5:43 pm
