Double the Fun: Meet Sissy & Jack! Howdy, friends! I’m Sissy, a 45 lb orange and white Brittany girl, and I never go anywhere without my brother and best buddy, Jack. We’re a bonded pair, which means you get double the love, double the fun, and double the cuddles! Why We’re Your Perfect Pair: I’m the Toy Queen: I love carrying my toys everywhere—it’s my thing! Fetch? Yes, please. Tug? You got it. I love to steal my brothers’ toys and hide them in my kennel. Cuddle Masters: Jack and I are expert snugglers. If you’re sitting down, expect both of us to climb into your lap for all the love—and maybe a nap or two. Critter Patrol Experts: With a fenced yard, we’ll chase all the squirrels, birds, and leaves to keep your yard safe from boredom. Good with Everyone: Cats? Cool. Kids? Love them. Dogs? Bring it on. We’re a social pair who love making friends. Fun Facts About Me (Sissy): I’m housebroken and crate trained, just tell me bedtime and I am so happy to kennel up. I’m working on my leash manners, but hey, who doesn’t like a challenge? I know commands like sit, stay, come, and even “easy” (whatever that means, I’m just naturally cool). If you’re looking for a pair of loving, playful, and goofy pups, Sissy & Jack are ready to fill your home with laughter, love, and a whole lot of tail wags! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 The adoption fee for TX/Sissy, who lives in Sanger, TX  is $400,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making TX/Sissy  part of your family, please complete the online application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Contact the South Central Region Coordinators Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com  and/or Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Sissy.  Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.  January 1, 2025, 7:13 pm

Double the Fun: Meet Jack & Sissy! Howdy, friends! I’m Jack Mac, a 49 lb orange and white Brittany boy, and I never go anywhere without my sister and best buddy, Sissy. We’re a bonded pair, which means you get double the love, double the fun, and double the cuddles! Why We’re Your Perfect Pair: I’m the Toy King: I love carrying my toys everywhere—it’s my thing! Fetch? Yes, please. Tug? You got it. Sissy might try to steal my toys, but I let her because I’m a gentleman. Cuddle Masters: Sissy and I are expert snugglers. Fun Facts About Me (Jack): I’m housebroken and crate trained (as long as I can see my sister—it’s a package deal!). I’m working on my leash manners, but hey, who doesn’t like a challenge? I know commands like sit, stay, come, and even “easy” (whatever that means, I’m just naturally cool). Story
Hi, I'm Ramsey!  I'm a mighty handsome 7 1/2 year old purebred orange/white brittany weighing about 42 pounds. I recently found myself in need of a new home when my mom passed away. She's had me my whole life, so things look a little bit different now. Can you help me find my way to my new home? I've got a heart full of sweetness and a mind that's as sharp as a tack. I've got energy to burn and a playful spirit that can't be tamed. I'm a bit of a lone wolf and have always been an only dog. I don't mind companionship, but usually just want to do my own thing. I do make sure to check in with my humans and like to sit with them on the couch.  The great outdoors is my playground and water? Oh boy, do I love a good splash!  I even like baths! I'm also pretty keen on anything that moves. I'm told I have a great looking point.  I'm also told I have some quirks, but who doesn't right?  You see, my mom used a laser pointer to play with me when I was young, so now I hunt and chase shadows and moving light.  I'm a real smart cookie and know sit, stay, back, shake/paw, leave it and no. I'm looking for someone who can keep up with my energetic lifestyle, who has a physically fenced yard that I can run and play in, and a pool or watering hole of some kind would be a bonus!  My favorite place to be is outside and I love chewing on sticks and chasing after a ball. I'm also good with kids.  I'm housebroken and crate trained, neutered and up to date on vaccinations. I'm overall a well-mannered gentleman.  If you're looking for a loyal, intelligent and independent companion, please consider opening your heart and home to me! You can submit an adoption application to www.nbran.org and mention my name! I am currently located in eastern NC and can be transported up to 1400 miles, with the adopter driving the last 100 or so miles.  My adoption fee is $350 to help cover my vetting and help NBRAN continue to rescue pups like me!  For any further questions, please email jessica@thesouthernway.comDecember 10, 2024, 12:19 pm

Story
Penny is a 19 month old Brittany/Hound mix. She is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, Heartworm negative and on preventative.  She minds her foster mom really well and has great recall. Penny knows the command sit and is working on stay. She is not very vocal and does not bark much. She loves running in the yard and is good with other dogs. Penny loves her toys and she also loves treats. Penny is a very healthy girl. Penny's foster mom says she is not destructive and loves to lounge in her dog bed. Because she gets overly excited, Penny jumps on people, but her foster mom is working with her.  Because of her jumping, Penny will not be a good fit for a home with small children.  Penny is being fostered in Tennessee. Her adoption fee is $325.00 and can be transported up to 1400 miles via our Canine Railroad with the adopter taking the last leg, usually less than 100 miles.  Applications for Penny can be found on www.nbran.org.  For more information, email dltuthill@epbfi.com or ztasuzanne@gmail.com.  November 4, 2024, 9:17 pm
