You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Pixel: Your Future Loyal Companion! Pixel is a sweet, affectionate little dog who thrives on being close to his person. He has a gentle, quiet nature and doesn’t bark, even when visitors arrive. Pixel adapts quickly to routines and is comfortable around dogs of all sizes. He’s making excellent progress with potty training and currently wears a belly band to manage occasional marking. While Pixel has not yet been tested with cats or children, his breed is typically known for getting along well with both. He’s still learning how to navigate stairs and is currently carried up and down while he builds confidence. His weight will be officially recorded during his upcoming neuter appointment, but he is estimated to weigh around 10 lbs. Pixel will settle in a crate, though it’s not his favorite place. He much prefers curling up on a blanket in his bed, where he sleeps peacefully through the night. He is a devoted snuggler and loves to share your lap whenever possible. He knows his name, comes when called, and is eager to learn new commands. He is intelligent and responds well to positive reinforcement. To help him feel secure, Pixel is fed separately from other dogs, which allows him to eat at a comfortable pace. He has displayed mild resource guarding of his person’s lap when other dogs approach, but he takes redirection well and is improving with consistent guidance. Pixel is a loving, loyal companion with a bright future ahead. He’s looking for a patient, caring family who can continue his training and share their heart (and lap!) with him.
