Story
With a heavy heart we are looking to rehome Zoie, a full bred Bullmastiff. She’s approximately 6 years old. After the passing of our brother we tried to care for her. But unfortunately cannot keep her because we already have six dogs and she does not get along well with two of them. She is very friendly, loyal, and loving. And would do great in a single pet home. Please help us find her a new safe home. Thank you so much!

These pups are in Petaluma, California too!

Story
Sky is a sweet, gentle, 8-year-old Mastiff mix who was found as a stray in Tehama County and spent 2 months in their shelter. We are so glad she found her way to Lily’s Legacy. Sky loves to romp the property where she is being fostered followed by a nice long nap. She is adorable as she shows you her sit, shake and down follow by a “please rub my belly”. She also loves to play with stuffies and balls, and is learning the ins and outs of fetch. You will often find her with her favorite toy in her mouth which she will proudly show you. Sky lives with 4 other dogs in her foster home – 2 young, and 2 seniors. She is gentle and respectful with the seniors and keeps up with the energy of the young ones. We don’t know how she feels about cats. Sky sleeps soundly through the night and is proving to be a wonderful houseguest. Her soft beautiful brindle fur and big soft squishy nose make her a wonderful cuddle buddy too. Unfortunately, she tested positive for heartworm so will be going through treatment over the next couple months. The good news is that the heartworm was diagnosed early, so we expect her to make a full recovery. Sky is doing very well in her foster home where she is getting lots of attention and TLC.

The family is devastated as they absolutely adore her, and her mom shared that 'she has been the best dog she has ever had.'   Claire Bear is quite the big girl, and is a healthy, gentle giant who loves family activities, swimming at the beach, going for walks and playing with other dogs (whether they are large or quite small). She loves balls and carrying her stuffies around with her. Her best friend was her cat brother whom she adored and slept with, and the two of them have been partners in crime and loved to sneak up on the couch together and cozy up when their mom was at work. She has been with her family since she was 12 weeks old, is well trained and has a beautiful and happy personality. She is not a farm, outdoor or guard dog; she loved being with her people (which also included a child) and other animals. She loves the dog park, meeting dogs on walks and driving to Peet's to get a pup cup.   If you or anyone you know is a big dog lover and is looking for a peach to join their household, please share this post. She is one of the easiest dogs we have ever rehomed which we don't say very often. She is currently being fostered in the East Bay at Happy Hound.  Adoption Center: (415) 506-6225 The Marin Humane Society 171 Bel Marin Keys Blvd., Novato, California 94949 Email: adoptions@marinhumanesociety.orgMarch 11, 2025, 11:57 pm
