Story
We brought Dozer home to help a coworker who needed to rehome home for what they said was lack of time for him. They said he was great with kids and a lover. As much as we do believe that to be true, he also is in need of a lot of behavioral work. He difficult to walk on leash (he is so strong), wants to go after others walking by - has never attacked, just all bark and it seems scary due to his size, and has not responded well in moments where he thought our kids were being threatened. We later learned there was DV in the home when he was young. He has never bitten us or hurt any of us, but we do not feel like we can trust him around our small children. He did have one seizure and no others. We had a full lab work done and they found nothing specific. That was many months ago and nothing since. We do not want to put him down ~ we want to find him a home that can work with him, have training experience, and can show they are alpha.

Story
Dennis is only 12 mos. We rescued him from being euthanized. He had severe kennel stress...then was attacked in the play yard at the shelter just to make things worse. He has done good with dog introductions, but freaked out when a kid on a scooter rode past him. So no young children. This poor guy just needs a chance and someone who has the patience to show him how to be a good dog. He is currently being fostered in the Coerd 'alene ID area. Due to his size and stress, he needs someone with large breed experience.
