Dustin`s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & Greet (Can be Selective)Cats - UnknownKids - Yes, 14+Dustin might just be the loyal, loving companion you never knew you were looking for! With his big, soulful eyes, this handsome guy’s strength is only matched by the size of his heart. A gentle giant at home, Dustin thrives in a quiet, low-traffic environment where he can form deep bonds and feel truly secure. He`s still a work in progress—that’s where you come in. Although housebroken and crate trained, Dustin does best with someone confident, firm, and patient as he works through his reactivity around unfamiliar people, especially when they come too close to his space. But let’s not dwell on that—Dustin has so much potential! He’s proven himself a loving, reliable companion with his current family, and his affectionate nature shines through every day.Strong, playful, and always up for a good walk (he’s your perfect workout partner if you can keep up with him!), Dustin isn’t afraid to show his feelings when he’s nervous. With a little consistent, positive guidance, he’ll blossom into the best version of himself. His ideal home is one with older kids (14 and up) and adopters ready to invest in training and fun, building an unshakeable bond along the way.Ready to help Dustin write his happily ever after? His next chapter is waiting—with you.-----Adoption Fees & Benefits:Under 1 year: $2001-4 years: $1005-9 years: $5510+ years: $35Fees include: Heartworm test (age appropriate), vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, complimentary bag of food, wellness exam, and rabies vaccine.Important Notice: A `meet and greet` with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas. Story
We rescued Doyle from our local shelter as we suspected an obstruction. He received surgery, in which several things were found, including foam and screws. He has recovered nicely from the procedure and has gained over 20lbs! He has had no interested in eating anything other than food since his surgery. We suspect he was starved, and resorted to eating whatever he could find at the time. Doyle is delightful, friendly and low energy. He has no clue that he doesn't fit in your lap, and wants nothing more than to flop his body all over you in lovings! If you have kids, we would recommend children over the age of 10, as he is a big boy!

Story
Harry is a big, lovable derpy dog who loves everyone he meets. Harry is about 85% potty trained and he’s 100% lapdog. He doesn't know how big he is, and wears his love on the outside. He is certainly a very happy dog if he has room to move. No fault of his own, Harry has been bounced around from home to home and did a couple tours of the city shelter when we stepped in and decided to give him a chance. Harry has had very little structure in his young life and he most likely missed the window of development when dogs learn to read other dogs. So, while he absolutely loves other dogs, he has no idea how to read body language. Because of this, Harry will need slow introductions and a tolerant dog friend to set him up for success when meeting other dogs. Harry has some separation anxiety and would do best in a home where he gets to go most places with his people or his people are home a lot. Harry also has no idea that he’s an 95 lb dog with more weight to put on. Because of Harry's large size and inability to read personal space, he would do better with a stronger person of stature. Harry thinks he is still a puppy and can easily be unpredictable with his joy. He's basically a lovable-wrecking ball in dog form. Harry has the stubbornness of a mastiff. If he doesn't want to do something he either plays "catch the mastiff" or "dead mastiff." Both can be frustrating, but also funny if you like that kind of thing. Most of what Harry is trying to avoid is being alone. You absolutely will not find a dog with a bigger heart than Harry. But I’m not gonna lie, he is A LOT. He’s got some baggage from being bounced around. He needs structure, patience, and time. And, of course, lots of love. Are you Harry’s person? Fill out an adoption application on our website, Sketchymuttsandunderdogs.org and we will set up a time to talk about him! *Adopters must live in Central Indiana, no more than 45 min from downtown Indy

Story
Atlas | Mastiff and Lab Mix | DOB: 08.01.2020 | 75 pounds | Only Animal | Older Kids | Meet Atlas! Atlas is a beautiful 60 pound brindle mastiff and lab mix. He is 4 years old and a very sweet and down to earth boy. Atlas sat in a city shelter for over 6 months before coming to us. Atlas loves his people, especially if they’re women. He is a lover and such a sweetheart. Atlas is an overall chill and happy boy. He listens very well off leash and his favorite thing to do is play with toys out in the yard. Atlas is a playful boy and loves to throw his toys around the house. He loves walks and he absolutely loves treats. He will often lay with his paws crossed, as any sophisticated boy would do. We are looking for a home with no younger children, as they can be loud. Atlas is not good with dogs or cats. Atlas is potty trained and crate trained. He has never had an accident in the home or in his crate while we’re at work. He’s a great walker on the leash. If he sounds like a good fit, adopt our boy today!
