Leo has been in an out of our shelter far too many times and bounced around in multiple homes. At only 4.5 years old, he isn't quite sure who to trust, we can't blame him? This mini-mastiff mix is looking for an adult home that will help him build a bond. He arrived initially as a stray and was reclaimed twice by his owner. Due to an unfortunate situation, Leo is not suitable to be around other dogs, nor can he go to a home with children. Leo has so many positives - he is fantastic in the play-yard with his human friends. While he takes some time to trust new people, he will love you forever. He does best when people speak softly to him and treat him respectfully. While he allows all handling, he will rush to eat if you are near his food, we get it, we aren't into sharing either. He isn't sure what is expected of him, so we are looking for a fantastic tour guide to help him navigate life. He wants to be included in all your life activities, he needs to learn what life can be, routines, schedules and of course adventure! He must be a solo dog, but that just means he can spoil you with all the love has. Leo would find happiness in an adult savvy home. He is eager to find a forever family!
