Story
"Odie is about 63lbs and we believe he is ~2 years old. He appeared at our home in September of 2023. He is super affectionate and very playful. He learns quickly and is eager to please. We are seeking to rehome him because we have two older dogs and would like to do more traveling, and we're not in the market for taking on a younger dog at this time." Odie does have a history of nervous aggression towards new people and has a bite history. However, he has been in training for this issue for the past 3 months. If adopted locally (East TN), he comes with eight sessions of training with Circus Dog Training to ensure a safe transition, in addition to 6-months worth of his medication. He is muzzle-trained and leash-trained. Odie needs a family of experienced dog owners willing to work with and love him. No small children or cats, but he loves other dogs. He has a checkered past, but only wants to be loved.
