Maddie is an adorable little Terrier mix who came to us from Animal Control. According to her foster parents, Maddie is a perfect little girl, and gets along with everyone she meets... adults, children, and other dogs, both large and small.
Maddie is well housetrained, and currently sleeps in a crate at her foster home. We feel she would love to be invited to join her new parents in 'the big bed'. She is a quiet little girl, and rarely barks, unlike many Terriers. Maddie is used to having a fenced yard in which to run around and to 'go potty', so that would be ideal for her to have in her new home. Even though Maddie enjoys playing with squeaky plush toys, she doesn't continually squeak them... she just loves to lay down and chew on them.
We are looking for a family for Maddie where she will have companionship during the day, and will not be left at home while the family is at work. Either someone who works from home or a young and active retiree would be perfect for this little girl. She walks well on a leash and rides well in the car, so hopefully she'll be able to go on many adventures with her new family!
Maddie is current on her Distemper/Parvo and Rabies vaccine and is spayed and microchipped. She tested negative for Heartworms and is on Heartworm prevention. She also had a dental cleaning.
Maddie's adoption fee is $400.00. We accept checks or cash for adoption fees... sorry, we do not take cards.
Maddie is a loving, active, and smart little girl who deserves only the best home and family! If you feel that Maddie would be a good match for your family, you must first fill out an application here (please copy and paste): https://foreverhomek9rescue.org/adoption-application/ After we receive your application we will contact you... thank you!
Forever Home Canine Rescue offers a three-week trial period with all of our adoptions, just to be sure that the pet is a good match for the adopting family. The fee is refunded if the adoption does not work out within the trial period. We want to be sure that each of our pets will have their perfect 'forever' home!
Although Forever Home Canine Rescue adopts out-of-state, we never ship or transport our pets. An approved adopter must come to North Carolina to meet their new canine companion and then take him/her back home with them.
