Story
A kind woman on a fixed income found this precious kitty on her doorstep one day.  She would love to keep her but cannot.  She is super affectionate and sweet tempered.  Another stray deserving her own forever home!  Do you have room in your heart and home for this lovely girl? If you are interested in adopting, please go to straylovefoundation.org and fill out an adoption application. Each of our rescues will be COMPLETELY vetted (which includes a combo test, often a parvo test, worming, spay/neutered, vaccines, and micro-chipping). We do all in our power to assure our rescues are as healthy as possible and live a long happy life. There is always a chance that an animal we have rescued will have a genetic health issue (since they are rescues there is no way that we can know their family history) or one of our tests falls in that low percentage of false-negative category or a they contract a rare disease that we have no way of knowing about or they contract under your care. We cannot guarantee 100% that your pet will live the 15 to 20 years we hope for but with all that we do for them, the chances are incredibly strong that they will. Transportation fees, when applicable, vary by distance/expense. Home checks may be conducted. We are asking for an adoption donation of $148. On most animals, a tax-deductible adoption donation of $148 is required upon approved adoption application. (This is a fraction of our vet expenses and you are always welcome to donate more.) HOWEVER, when we rescue a special breed, ridiculously adorable, or unusual color, we ask for a higher donation which helps towards our vet expenses. If you can't adopt, donate or sponsor, if you can't donate, volunteer! Tax-deductible donations can be made via PayPal using our email address: info@straylovefoundation.org. Or you can click on the donate button on our FB page (StrayLoveFoundation Magnolia Springs) or click on the donate button on our website home page at www.straylovefoundation.org. Rescued from a trailer park just west of Baldwin Express on Doc McDuffie Road, Ziggy's journey to our sanctuary is nothing short of heroic. When we received a distressing call about the impending threat to shoot the resident cats by a new owner of the property, we knew we had to act swiftly.   Having already TNVR'd the cats in this area, we were familiar with their stories. Ziggy, along with her five siblings, was pulled to safety just before the caretaker had to leave. While her siblings remain skittish, Ziggy stands out with her loving and approachable nature. As part of our sanctuary entourage, she wins over everyone she meets with her friendly greetings.   This cross-eyed beauty is not only a cuddler but also appreciates her own space. Story
Meet Lilly B, a Sweet Calico Beauty! Lilly B is a stunning Calico with a heartwarming story. For a year, Lilly B roamed Gulf Shores State Park, always eluding capture despite the caretakers' best efforts. Finally, with patience and trust, they were able to bring her to safety.   Now in a sanctuary, Lilly B has shown that she is far too sweet to live out her days here—she deserves a loving forever home. This social butterfly is not only clean and beautiful but also very healthy and affectionate. Lilly B is ready to find a lap to lay on and a family to call her own. While we're not sure about her interactions with dogs, we know she gets along well with other cats. With her sweet disposition and loving nature, Lilly B is the perfect addition to any home.   If you're looking for a delightful companion who will fill your life with love and joy, come meet Lilly B. She's waiting to find her forever family!   If you are interested in adopting, please go to straylovefoundation.org and fill out an adoption application.
