Calico kittens & cats in Lanett, Alabama

Cally is approximately 13 years old. She is totally an inside cat. However she does enjoy my screened in porch in the mornings. She has been declawed on front and back paws since she was a kitten. She likes to cuddle on her terms. She doesn't like loudness and will hide in her safe place until things settle down. When my grandkids come she hides until their loudness calms down then she's come out for them. Guess that's because it's been just the two of us since my husband passed. She was actually his cat. She doesn't like the sound of plastic bags like groceries come in. She's not very vocal. She normally does not jump up on counters or my dinning room table. She does sleep on my bed and will join me when I'm sitting in my chairs and even includes others with this ritual. She's not been around other cats or dogs so I would say probability not good with them. I'm looking for her a new home because I'm facing health issues and feel I can't give her the care she deserves. Help!

Sweet Boo is 9 weeks old and looking for her forever home! She & her brother were rescued from a parking lot when they were just 5 weeks old. They were a little spicy but have made great progress with being socialized! Boo still startles easily (hence her name) but will outgrow that with time and love. She absolutely loves to sit with you and cuddle and for such a tiny girl, she's got a big purr!! She is the perfect little kitty for a calm home, she loves our cats and is used to having 2 dogs in the home too. She is small and we think she was the runt of the litter- she's just 1.5 pounds at 9 weeks old, (her brother is 2.75 lbs by comparison) Boo is a precious girl who would make a wonderful companion for someone who's looking for a sweet, calm kitty.

She is a very loveable once she is in a new place for a couple of days. Very playful.

Sweet Bonnie was rudely abandoned in a box with others at a business shopping cart corral. Super snuggly, loving and loves to sit on your shoulder.

SALLY and LUCY Sally and Lucy are calico sisters, about 9-1/2 months old at this posting. They are seeking a loving, devoted home which they can completely rule and dominate, with people who will be their total servants and vassals and who will spoil them completely in the way they have become accustomed to. They are spayed (December 2023), fully vetted through their kittenhood, up-to-date on shots including Rabies, FVRCP and FeLV, and extremely healthy and active. They MUST go together as a pair, as they are totally bonded- they play, chase, wrestle, cuddle and sleep together constantly. They also (we are convinced) collaborate on effective schemes to steal human food at every possible opportunity- they’re particularly fond of chicken and bacon. SALLY is a classic calico, multicolored in black, orange and white- her markings are beautiful and unique, like she was assembled late on a Friday when few matching parts remained in stock. She has long legs (rear slightly longer than front, for speed) and a very long tail, a gorgeous face and eyes, and has soft short fur. She is a cuddler, loves to sit on laps and purr and nuzzle and be loved. LUCY is a dilute calico; her colors are blue/grey, peach and white rather than Sally’s black, orange and white. Like Sally, her markings are unique and beautiful. Lucy has the long tail and long legs, but even softer fur than Sally. Lucy loves her pets but is more likely to pick her own times to cuddle; she’s more likely to curl up next to you or come look you in the eye than get in your lap. And when plots are being hatched to steal human food, our observation is that Lucy is the brains of the outfit, the planner, while Sally is the executor of the plans- Sally is faster and sneakier! But both are VERY food-motivated for sure! These two need a VERY loving, attentive forever home to go to and totally rule- they would be ideal for younger families - they seem to get along OK with other cats and with some dogs, but truly prefer each others’ company above any other animals- and they have PLENTY of love and affection to share with their humans! They’re VERY sweet sociable kittens and would be EXCELLENT pets - they already are! Only two rules about their adoptors: (1) They MUST be willing to spoil them and love them and take excellent care of them as INSIDE cats, including annual veterinary care, and we’d prefer to be kept in the loop with pictures and stories- we’ve become hopelessly fond of them ourselves- and (2) If, for any reason whatever, you decide you can’t keep them or wish not to keep them, they MUST be returned to US- not just turned in to a shelter or rescue- no explanation needed, but WE want them back rather than see them take their chances out there- no matter if it’s twenty years from now!
