Story
DOB 1-19-23   Meet Ava Gardner, a demure and stunning Calico. She was dumped at a vets office and was kept in a crate for months. Valley Cats took her in to find her a forever home. We don’t know much of her history, but she was sad and reserved when she came to us. She is starting to learn to trust, play and build  her confidence. Come in to meet Ava at our cage-free adoption center in Westlake Village.November 5, 2024, 10:46 pm

Story
Introducing Callie, a sweet and gentle cat who was rescued at just 5 months old from the Mojave Desert, where she was found alongside a handful of other kittens. After spending the past year in foster care, Callie has made incredible progress in learning to trust people and find comfort in a loving environment. Callie may be a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—once she warms up, she’s an absolute cutie! Her playful side is waiting to shine, and she’s always up for stealing a bite of wagyu from her foster mom—her absolute favorite treat! Callie thrives in the company of other cats and would be happiest in a home with at least one other feline friend. She’s completely obsessed with her fellow cats and loves to be around them. A calm, patient family with a peaceful home environment would be the perfect match for her. Callie is looking for a family who can offer her the gentle love and companionship she needs to continue growing into the confident, loving cat we know she can be. If you're looking for a sweet and snuggly companion who just needs a little time to adjust and feel at home, Callie might be the perfect fit for you! Story
Meet the Friends kittens! I found the kittens & mother at my work in late August. I work at a Valley High School & when I discovered them they had been living in an outdoor storage unit for 6-8 weeks. Ever since they were found, captured, & fostered all the cats have been flourishing. I have 4 kittens and the mother cat available for adoption. Adoption fee: $150 per a cat. This high energy, but sweet girl is Rachel (multi-colored female). Breed: DSH. She is bonded to her brother Ross. She is about 6 months old now. Cats are social creatures & now that these two have been living, playing, & cuddling for months, they are bonded and need to be adopted as a loving pair. Rachel is up to date on her vaccines & she is neutered! She is also microchipped. Rachel is the shyest of her siblings, while she loves & adores her brother Ross, she is slow to warm up to people. She is playful, spunky, sweet, yet will need a special and patient owner for her to get use to & love. Adopt this loving pair!

Story
Meet Alice, a beautiful, Calico kitten with round, yellow/amber eyes and a soft, medium-haired coat... which she LOVES to have brushed. If you're looking for PURRSONALITY, Alice is your GIRL!! She's sweet, affectionate and highly-social... likely to run and greet you the moment you walk in the room. She just may even hop onto your shoulder for a ride. Alice was born into a very sad situation where a family, in Baldwin Park, was allowing all their cats to breed uncontrollably. None of them were receiving any veterinary care or a healthy diet. She arrived with a group of 12 kittens - from various litters and with varying health issues. Lucky for Alice, she was one of the healthiest and was separated from the sicker ones. It was an overwhelming undertaking since some of them had very serious issues (one was missing an eye). But Alice was the bright light among them all... always chatting to greet me and excited to be pet and held in my arms. Once I was able to get them all in good health and getting them spayed/neutered, Alice was reunited with the rest of her extended family members... with whom she got along famously. For a time, she lived in a foster home with young children and two, small dogs. She and her sisters would follow the family around from room to room and they noted she was very "dog-like" in nature. This girl LOVES to play with any kind of feather toy or catnip mouse. She also enjoys chasing and wrestling any worthy opponent. Her current BF is her Lynx Point Siamese sister, Pancake. You'll find her full rescue journey chronicled in Photo Album #34 on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including video and photo updates on all our cats and kittens). Be sure to check out her adoption video and fall in L-O-V-E!! Alice's adoption will include her: * Spay surgery, * De-worming, * Flea and mite treatment (with Revolution), * FVRCP vaccinations, * Rabies vaccination (if old enough), * Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative), * and Microchipping! ~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~ * Please only contact us if you'll be making Alice a permanent member of your household and will be keeping her safe indoors. ** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. For example: another kitten or cat will teach them when they're playing too rough or biting too hard. Plus, cats and kittens get very lonely when you're not at home! Having a playmate will keep them happier, healthier and out of trouble. **We offer a discount when adopting a pair! Interested in becoming a much-needed foster? Please send us a message with your best contact info, the type of home environment you can provide and, most-importantly, the City in which you live. Thanks!

Story
Meow there! I`m Cleopatra, and I`ve got a tail to tell you about why I`m the cat you`ve been searching for!First things first, let`s talk about playtime – it`s my absolute favorite! I`m always up for a game, whether it`s chasing a toy mouse or pouncing on a feather wand. Oh, the joy of a good play session knows no bounds!Living in the catio with my fellow feline friends is quite the adventure. Don`t get me wrong, I adore their company, but every queen needs her space, am I right? Sometimes, I just need a moment to reign over my own little kingdom without any interruptions. Can you blame me?Now, about that sassy side of mine – it`s all part of my charm, really! I`ve got a personality as bold as my namesake, and I`m not afraid to show it. A little sass keeps things interesting, don`t you think? So, if you`re in the market for a playful, sweet, and just a touch sassy companion, then look no further – Cleopatra`s the name, and ruling your heart will be my game! Let`s make some purr-fect memories together in our own little kingdom. Are you ready to join my royal court?
