Story
This beauty walked right up to a family who were outside their home. They gave her shelter while they checked with neighbors and posted flyers. No one came to claim her. She had no chip, and no one in their gated community recognized her. Unable to give her a forever home, they brought her to our Sanctuary, where we had our vet give her a thorough exam. We posted her on all the sites, hoping she was lost and not abandoned. Three months later, no one had claimed Victoria. We named her Victoria the Magnificent because it fits! She is regal, loves to engage you in conversation, and loves to be loved. Our vet guestimates her to be about 4 years old. She's very healthy and will give some lucky subject a lot of love. On June 21, 2024, Victoria was adopted into a home with a small dog. The introductions were not done as advised, and it ended badly for Victoria. Our Magnificent girl has been returned 7/15/2024. She will have to re-acclimate to an environment with 50 cats and a large dog; but she did it once, she can do it again! Victoria will only be adopted into a home with no other pets.

Story
Cleopatra and her four siblings entered the world on the sidewalk of an apartment complex, born to a very young, abandoned cat. They were all brought to us with their mom, when the kittens were just one day old. Their mom was named after her finder, Diana. Because she is so “ladylike” in her demeanor, we decided Lady Diana was an appropriate name for her. All her kittens are sweet, love to play and are healthy and happy. Cleopatra is a beautiful calico who has dramatic eyes and a regal air befitting her name. Her siblings, who are also her best friends, are Julia, Fergie, Athena and Dutch. Since they are bonded, she needs to be adopted with one of them. It is our policy that kittens be adopted in pairs. DOB: 3/26/24

They were brought to us with their mom, when the kittens were just one day old. Their mom, who is so “ladylike” in her demeanor, we named her Lady Diana (after her finder). Her kittens are all very sweet, love to play, and are happy and healthy. They are vocal and purry and typical rambunctious little ones! Athena is a beautiful dilute calico, who was a bit on the shy side though she has come a long way in a short time. She would do best with a patient adopter who is willing to help her develop her true personality. Athena must be adopted with one of her siblings (Cleopatra, Fergie, Julia or Dutch), as they are all very bonded. It is our policy that kittens be adopted in pairs.. DOB: 3/26/24

Story
Lady Diana, a very young, abandoned cat, gave birth to four kittens on the sidewalk of a local apartment complex. Fortunately, a kind person came to their rescue and brought her and her one-day old kittens to us. We named her “Lady” Diana (her finder’s name) because she has such a lady-like personality. This mommy has been a wonderful mother raising her kittens. She is still very devoted to them and wouldn’t mind if she was adopted with one or more of her kittens. Lady Diana deserves to enjoy a happy and safe, indoor life with all the love there is to give. She's only about nine months old! We do feel that other than with her kittens, she’d do best as an only pet. DOB: 10/25/24

Luna is about 5 years old and is a very sweet cat. She likes to sit in the window and watch outside. I want her to go to a better home because currently unfit to foster her any longer due to space constraints. I believe she just needs space to stretch out and roam around.

Story
We adopted Fluffy and her sister - Sissy Dec. 23, 2015. They were approx. 3 months old then. They both have been spayed and up to date on their shots. They can be placed together or separately. Reason Relocating - We are moving back North to Ohio and are going to be traveling alot and we don't want to board her or have her home alone with only someone checking on her and feeding her. Adjectives that describe your pet: Fluffy is sweet and lovable. Not really a lap cat, but likes to be near you. She will sit nearby or lay against you. She is scared of small children and has never been around dogs. Best Qualities She loves being brushed and loves to play with hair bands. She likes toy mice, but hair bands will entertain her for a long time.

Story
Holly came to us with her litter of four, two-week old kittens. She had the kittens in her first heat and gave birth in a pile of leaves. Her kittens have all been adopted and our sweet Holly is still looking for a home to call her own. Holly loves to cuddle up to her foster mom to sleep. She would do very well as an only pet or would be fine with another gentle cat(s) with the proper introductions. Holly is a pretty, affectionate, easy going young lady who loves sitting on high perches in her favorite room looking out the window watching all the birds, squirrels and lizards. Personality traits Loving, Talkative, Friendly, Affectionate, Gentle, Playful, Smart, Loves kisses DOB: 6/10/20.

Story
Goldie's mom was a Silver Tabby Maine Coon, but a bit on the smaller side. That trait didn't reveal itself in Goldie, tho! She's a very large girl! Goldie is so gentle; when she wants attention, she ever-so-calmly paws her foster mom's nose. Goldie, her mom and siblings were rescued from the streets a few days after the kittens were born. Goldie can be a little shy, but she will come around if you approach her calmly and slowly so she knows she's safe. Once she trusts, she trusts with her whole heart. This girl is a total couch potato, especially if the couch is in the sun! She does like to sit NEXT to her foster mom, not ON her lap; She loves to curl up in the crook of mom's arm to go to sleep for the night. Goldie has the most unusual coat - there's a lot of gold fur mixed in with the various browns. Her coat is very plush and does require regular combing. Goldie doesn't like to be brushed or have her claws trimmed, but with the appropriate treats and sweet-talk, she can be persuaded. She's seen here with her kitty friend, Hart, and cat-loving doggie, TyTy. Sadly, Hart AND TyTy left for the Rainbow Bridge, and now Goldie doesn't have a a dog to chill with, and she's not partial to any of the cats, although she gets along just fine with them. Personality Traits: Friendly, Affectionate, Gentle, Curious, Independent, Quiet, Couch potato, Loves kisses, Playful, Dignified DOB: 4/18/18

Story
Sammy is "special needs" as he needs a seasoned human, who is willing to patiently work with him to bring him out of his shell. He really doesn't know if he can trust humans, because he was abandoned out in the cold, cruel world, and he was being beaten up by other strays. We don't know anything else about his history. A good Samaritan saw what was happening to him, phoned us requesting we take him in, and we said, "Bring him!" Sammy was quite shy for the first few weeks at the Sanctuary. When he was ready, we opened his condo door so he could come out and join the others. However, he stayed in the open crate for days! Eventually, his curiosity got the better of him, and Sammy ventured out into the "kitten room," where he allowed us to approach and pet him. He's a very quiet, sweet boy. As for children, he'd be much more comfortable with a very gentle, older child. He seeks comfort with several of our other cats, especially Archie, who makes up in love-seeking what Sammy currently lacks. DOB: 3/1/22 Friendly, Gentle, Curious, Independent, Quiet DOB: 3/1/2022
